NCAA Tournament 2017

The bracket is officially set, who do you like? Who is your final four? Champion? Early upsets?

Vegas odds: Vegas sportsbooks favor Duke to claim crown

I personally do not think Duke will win it all. I like Kansas. I will be fine with anyone winning that isn't North Carolina.

My Final Four: Nova/Duke havent decided yet, Zona, Kansas, and either UK or UCLA beating out UNC in the South.

Since Ohio state sucks this year I have duke and gonzaga to root for

 

I can't see Kansas winning the tournament, especially with the Frank Mason drama going on. I'll stick with Nova/Unc winning it all. Watch for Wichita State to pull a few upsets, and Duke to be out in the round of 32.

 

Would take Duke playing like utter shit to be bounced that early, their 7/10 seeds are weak and Troy is one of the weaker 15 seeds I've seen. Wichita State might not even beat Dayton and pretty much no chance they'll beat Kentucky imo.

What Frank Mason drama? You mean Josh Jackson drama?

Normally I'd be real weary of Duke upset early with their one and dones but they got pretty lucky with Troy/Marquette/SC. Those teams are not very good. But I could be wrong, it is March Madness after all. If they replicate their ACC tourney performance they're getting to the Final Four though.

But in all seriousness, I think UK or Nova will take it - put West Virginia taking it all in my bracket though cause I'm not gonna win if it's a 1/2 seed, the rest of my bracket will be too shit compared to everyone else who picked them, whereas I can be sure nobody else has picked West Virginia )))
Yes they did lose 8 games this year but with an average margin of ~4 points so I think they have the potential to be a real Cinderella story here. Especially in the side of the bracket with Gonzaga who has had the weakest schedule of any of the top 20 teams in the nation by far, I have my fingers crossed for the long shot...

 

I was just saying I really like ND/WVU chances of beating Gonzaga.

WVU/ND looked way shakier than I expected, but sometimes close wins have a way of relaxing you and making you very dangerous moving forward.

Buying into this a little more now actually. Duke is not impressing me. Overly reliant on three and cannot defend the paint. All it's going to take is a bad shooting night and they're in trouble.

 

First shock of the tournament

Wasn't quite shocked, suffered a couple injuries early that I think people really overlooked. Also, I chose Michigan to win it all, and I stand by it. They look good and have been hot.

I had a really good round of 64 but everythings crumbling now lmao

 

I hadn't realized til it was pointed out to me that South Carolina would be playing an hour from campus and in the same geographical pod as UNC. Duke fans we easily outnumbered 20-80 tonight. For a team like Duke that was not a good road team all season, it did visibly shake them.

I didn't expect Duke to win it all but it hurts being out this early especially with a clear path to the final four. Tough teams, but all teams they could have beaten.

 

I have a Villanova v Louisville final.

I'm out as well lol, I feel like Duke plays to the level of competition a lot. Hence why I made that prediction.
