Looking for advice w/buying an OSRS account

Hi guys I'm looking for 10 mins of your time if youre an experienced buyer/seller on here.
I'm new to the sythe forums and I'm just about to purchase my first account on here in a few hours time. I wanted to get some advice with buying/the seller. If you could PM asap me that'd be great and we'll talk from there.

I've sold a bunch of accounts on Sythe. Make sure you're trading with a very reputable and old member (3+ years). Don't go by donation amount, go by vouches. I'd say at least 90% of the people on Sythe recover their accounts at some point.

 

Pay the high dollar price to get an account from someone with tons of vouches, years of positive history and an active post account because they make accounts to sell and there's a low chance of being scammed.

Or buy from the user who "quit runescape to focus on school" and has 0 vouches and a join date of today and is offering a max main 07 acc "that he hand trained for over 10000 hours" for his amazing steal of "100 dollars"


No but real I hate to say it but 90% of buyers who get scammed it's because they try to get something very cheap and instead of paying that extra 10-15% they lose all of their money trying to buy a stolen account or an account that doesn't even exist... Think about it this way, if a real account takes more than 240 hours to make (10 days playtime) it's 100% not going to sell for cheaper than 240 dollars (1$/hr).

 

Buy from someone trusted. It's not worth the risk paying less and then getting the account recovered later on.

 

There are a few sites where you can buy Rs Accounts and if they recover they pay your money back.

 

Don't use playerauctions. It sucks, but overpay for an account from someone EXTREMELY reputable so you get to actually keep the account
