Bitcoin & Hardware Wallets

I'm currently interested in purchasing a KeepKey BTC hardware wallet. Priced at 99$, this is a fairly high price-tag to justify.

For those of you who own hardware wallets, what is your opinion on them? Is the added security worth the price?

Thanks for your reply. Do you have a Trezor youself? How do you like it? A friend also recommended the ledger nano, what do you think of this product?

 

I don't own one myself because I don't have the amount of BTC in cold storage to justify it. However, I do know it's widely accepted as industry standard and very popular among large holders.

 

I know that Scotty has one. Mine should be arriving tomorrow, looking forward to it tbh.

To me it looked like the best hardware wallet.
