[CDT] Weekly Event #11 - Sythe 2048 [AMAZING PRIZES]

This week, the CDT brings you Sythe 2048 - a surprisingly addictive game you'll probably lose hours of time playing! The goal is simple: match identical tiles to create tiles of higher tiers. Once the game ends, post your screenshot in the comments or PM it to me and your score will be submitted. The winner will also have their picture replace the 1024 tile in the live game! Submissions will end on March 19.

Gameplay:
2048 is played on a gray 4×4 grid, with tiles that slide smoothly when a player moves them using the four arrow keys. Every turn, a new tile will randomly appear in an empty spot on the board with a value of either 2 (Sythe logo) or 4 (Richard). Tiles slide as far as possible in the chosen direction until they are stopped by either another tile or the edge of the grid. If two tiles of the same number collide while moving, they will merge into a tile with the total value of the two tiles that collided. The resulting tile cannot merge with another tile again in the same move. Higher-scoring tiles emit a soft glow.

There are 11 tiles in total, each with a different, Sythe-related image. As a bonus, anybody who reaches the 3k participation score and posts proof will be entered into a raffle to win an additional jigsaw minirank. Additionally, anybody who manages to get a "CDT" tile or higher in-game will be entered in the raffle twice.

How to get your score verified

To enter, one must post a screenshot (from either the web or mobile version) of their score. A score of at least 3k is required to be marked as a participant. Hi-scores are saved across sessions in both the web and mobile version so the player can come back and continue at any time.


Why should you should send in a score even if you won't win?

You should aim to at least participate in this event because something special will be planned for everyone who participates in at least 30 out of 50 weekly events that will have prizes that include miniranks, funranks (possibly if enough people participate in at least 30 weekly events out of the 50 planned Weekly Events), cash, Prize Boxes & more. Participating is easy, taking no longer than ~5-10 minutes each week, and it will be worth your time, not to mention the fact that if we get enough participants the prizes will only get better and better.
