Thats my first orb ive ever done please rate it THANX

 

I apologise for my past comment on your ripping, I promise I won't do it again without PROOF.

 

hum no ask tdd i have the psd that i made it using the tut

then agian ur avater aint hard to make there tuts everywhere for it

 

and plus the one on the site where u get the tut is 100 times better than mine

 

I'd say it would look better without a splatter font.

Perhaps something... blocky?

 

IMPACT FTW with a gradient from light to transparent drop the opacity ( of course this is all wile the text is selected but only do half the text ) and then dupicate drop opacity transform flip it upside down erase some of the text move it down a bit ( all text of course ) and BAM! your pro

Oh and make it smaller

One of the best, first orbs, I've ever seen. Consider, also, when adding text, that if you make the shine on top of the text, it makes the text look like it's inside the orb.

 

I do not consider this well done, based on the fact that you've followed step by step instructions from a tutorial (I've seen it myself). Anyone who can click a mouse and use a keyboard can do this, so in my opinion, this isn't to my liking.

Well like Atomic said, yeh its from a tutorial but to get the base structure to build something off of we need a place to start. His happened to be a tutorial. And in fact thats how I learned to do mine, I got it from a tut change it up and did my own things to it. Now since this is his first one do you really expect it to be changed from the tut? =o

 

The orb itself is decent but the text completely ruins it. Try using a more normal text than a text you just think is bad ass. Another thing is you could make the text small and make a reflection for the text. Like SMI said, make the text looks as if it is just sitting in the orb. Another thing is that when you save the picture save it as a PNG, and not a GIF, BMP, and defiantly not Jpeg.

 

Where did u start doing gfx and dont say u never got any help , we all got start somewhere

Yes, I made my signature. I make everything that I have, but the images I used aren't works that I have done, sadly. I don't have a good enough camera at the moment to take high-quality pictures, so I don't go out and do my own photography. These works were done by Katarzyna Napiórkowska of Germany. She can be found with most of her works at ikate.deviantart.com, which is why the link can be found in the signature. I should be buying her camera (not specifically hers, but a duplicate) within the year. She really enjoyed the way that I showcased her works, though, which made me happy. I was thinking about doing a full wallpaper in widescreen with her works, and adding some 'art gallery' lighting to each of the 'frames' I've given the images, as well as depth of field. There was a lot of color retouching to be done to her photos, however, so that they all looked like she has the same skin tone, hair color, and light depth. I then added a sepia photo filter, with various opacities, depending on distance from the focus. There was more, but to explain would be hard. The 'Vision Ex' Signature, is handwritten, however, by me, as well as the logo, as always, created by me.
