Vondafin submits "The 13 year old boy seems to have given the school district a lesson in the need to back up as files were deleted from the schools computers. In return the school suspended the boy for ten days. The question at hand is what was the hack, was it a hack or do they call deleting files now adays hacking? This article says the computer system had a black hole in security which would lead one to believe it was a hack and not just being deleted. The files deleted were the schools computerized student reading program, aka reader rabbit?"

well, I quess that dude pwnd his own school at and age of 13. Some friends and me could delete everything too! Where's only scared. We have acces to all document of all students so if someone makes his homework and saces it on school PC. We can just copy and past it to our documents. Funniest is that school doesn't know about it .

But this dude is also great

 

No props for him. Most MIDDLE schools aren't hard to hack, they usually have no security at all. He didn't even do it from outside the network..which would be possible for most middle schools.

And deleting files isn't hacking.

This report makes them sound about as stupid as when Fox reported on "Anonymous".

I talked to my our it admin and he says most files now a right protected.

that reminds me im going to format a school computer

 

I should look into this , im 13 ^^

But our school computers are hard to hack , they block everything with the word proxy. but maybe i could get into the files..

Kids these days.. Your school is helping you by giving you computers to use and you want to try and "Hack" it. Plus a proxy site won't help you.

Schools and colleges are probably the most easy things to break in ever because their network engineers/administrators are underpaid (I know a network admin at my school and he actually cares about the network probably the only one that does and hes just a cool guy anyway) for example the file storage system my school uses synchronizes files together and the files are stored on the local machine, guess who has read/write but not execute rights to those files? EVERYBODY, can you say worm plx?

Mmm, back in middle school i would go through the schools files and change things like, yearbook will's, and funny stuff, eventuall i began deleting the comment systems ect. it was a good laugh, but eventually they put up restrictions >.<

 

Don't fuck with school computers just for the fun of it. It's annoying when it affects you. Writing out code by hand because the servers are down in Comp Sci isn't very fun.
