    Introduction

Welcome to Rangerform's Free To Play (F2P) Strength Guide. This is my first ever guide, so be a little gentle if some information is incorrect. I will try to help you develop a Pure Strength character you can use for fun, for the adrenaline rush that is Player Killing (PK’ing), or to even make some money.

A Strength Pure is one of the most devastating PK’ers in the F2P world. They can whip out large amounts of damage quickly, and before you know it, you’re dead. Unlike Mage And Range Pure’s, Strength Pure’s will cost you the least to maintain. No arrows, no runes (unless you use teleport). Only food, cheap armor, and an okay-in-cost weapon.

    Basics

Here is a basic picture of pretty much all you need to know about your weapons.

The first option is for training Attack, and the second arrow points to what you need switch to for training Strength.

    Preparation

Now, before you run on and make your Pure, there are a few things you will need.

To begin, choose a cool name you’d like for an account. I don’t care what you choose, it’s up to you, but something you wont forget easily. And of course, choose a good password. I also suggest you make a PIN number, because of the low-life’s out there who will do anything to get some quick GP. You’re almost ready to start. You will need at least 100k to start off with.

Also get some food onto the account, and you’re ready. As a Level 3, there’s not much a person can do but get straight to training. However, there are a few things we must do first. Run down to Al-Kharid, and buy every scimitar you can, except bronze. Also, don’t bother with hunting for Black Scimitars, as they are somewhat rare. Then get a few sets of full Iron, from player’s, or the Varrock Armor store. Of course get some boots, a cape, and gloves. If you want to train Range to 40 later on, buy about 2-3k Iron arrows. Also, Magic to 25 will cost you a bit, but need not worry about that now.

    Training

Get your Iron Scimitar, Full Iron Armor, and an inventory with some food in it, and a Steel Scimitar. Run down to these chickens, located North across the bridge in Lumbridge.

Once there, train your strength to 5, then attack to 5. Equip your Steel Scimitar, and walk across the road, this way:

Here you will find Level 2 Cows. Switch your Scimitar to Slash, and train your Strength to 20. Follow up with 20 Attack. Now it’s time to move on. Walk up to Falador, then go North-East, arriving in this area.Use the world map to navigate to the Monastery.

Here you will find even better EXP then Cows, at a small increase in level. Monks. What makes them so good for training is that they heal. No need to bring food, because you can even talk to them to heal YOU! Now, get your Mithril Scimitar out, switch to Slash, and begin hacking away at them all the way to 40 Strength. It will take a bit, but it’s quite easy training. Now train attack to 30. After this, you may start PK’ing, or continue training. I’ll explain PK’ing later.

At this point, I suggest you get your arrows, buy a few Bows, and start training Range to 40. I don’t have to explain where to train it, because you train at the same places at which you trained Strength and Attack. Once you get 40 Range, buy yourself Dragon Hide Chaps, and Vams.

Now, get 25 Magic to help teleport when trouble arises. You can train Magic all the way from 1-25 on Chickens, or 1-10 on Chickens, then 10-25 on Cows. Once you get that, you can keep going with magic, because it will help your Health Points.

Time to move on to even stronger beasts. Acquire a Brass Key from players, and visit this spot, located slightly North-East of Barbarian Village.

Go down the stairs, and meet your new best friends. Hill Giants (Level 28). Since your defense is Level 1, you will get dealt damage, up to 4, but don’t worry, you will defeat them quickly. Here, spend a bit of time training Strength to 60, and attack to 40. After you reach Attack 40, I suggest you leave it at that. You don’t need the extra Combat level’s unless you plan on becoming a Member, and wielding Dragon weapons.

After Strength at 60, and attack at 40, there’s few creatures who will withstand your strength. After Hill Giants, you can train on Level 32 Red Spiders in Karamja dungeon.

Be sure to bring some food, and at least coins to get out of the Island, back to Port Sarim.

Equipment:Iron pl8body, Iron Full helm, and Iron Kite, Power Ammy, ANy boots, Rune skimmy, and green dhide vambs and dhide chaps.

Here’s basic equipment Pure Strength’s bring into the wilderness. I highly recommend this, over the full Iron, because with Dragon Hide, you get more protection against mages.

Here’s a few options you have for an inventory when you go Player Killing.

Option 1.: Rune 2h, str pot, and 26 lobbies

Option 2.:Str pot, varry tele, and 24 lobbies

I suggest option 1 for those who want to Knock Out (KO) their opponent. Get them down to low Health with scimitar, then bust out the type of 2H'er you can use and strike them down for deadly damage. This is also suggested for those who will be PK'ing solo, or those who dont like teleporting.

Option 2 is for those who are going to be PK'ing in Multi-Combat wilderness, which is loaded with teams of several people. You will need teleport runes to get out of an ambush, but if you don't feel like bringing them, it's your choice.

Strength Potion's are recommended to carry. Drink them when you engage in battle, and watch your hits soar.

    Final Words

Having a strength pure will not make you instantly rich, and you will die in the wilderness still, mostly to other pures which are taking over the f2p wilderness. Do not expect to kill everyone you see, but also take some risks and go out further than the lvl 5 wilderness. Enjoy!
