How does charging back through Paypal work nowadays?

Havent used Paypal to buy/sell things off of people that I do not trust in a long time. So the last time I used Paypal you just clicked on 'dispute' or however you started a chargeback and then you won it 99% of the time. How is it now?

The situation:

I want to buy some PS4 games off of a site similar to Ebay. If I were to buy those games I would have to go first, sending the money first. How should I set it all up that, if I were to get scammed, I could charge my money back?

 

If you don't get the games I believe yes u can.

 

From what I remember you'll be able to dispute the transaction and let PayPal know what happened, afterwards they'll get in touch with the seller to see their side of the story and then do an investigation so they can let you know the decision of the case. I believe stuff like that usually always win if you were to dispute it. @Buyacc

 

Use Paypal goods, produces an invoice of what you are to receive so you can easily get your money back if theres anything wrong.

 

Alright here are some steps

1. Find the transaction in your PayPal statements and click on it
2. Click "report a problem"
3. Follow steps until you get to the massage thing with seller
4. On the right of message board, should say something like "escalate to PayPal"
5. Wait 2 weeks for seller to upload their proof/ side of the story. In most cases though they don't do anything so you get your money in 2 weeks
