Is prayer bad for a tank ranger/mage?

Hey guys I was wondering if prayer is bad for a tank ranger/mage, the reason being I wanted to get the accumulator for my tank. So does this ruin the account or would it benefit me later on?

i was gonna get prayer from doing the quests to get accumulator and wanted to know if that would make my tank shitty. hes 1 att 1 str 35 def 37 range 38 mage 1 pray

 

well having prayer at that point is just waste. when you have 90+ range and lot def then you can get 52 prayer..

 

Too early stage for prayer.. Tank rangers are quite good at staking so i would keep him at prayer 1

 

Most tank rangers I see at edge are smiting so yes it is worth it, you also get the prayer eagle eye

 

You should get 44-52 pray Smite and Eagle eye and you will own.

 

Get higher stats first after your higher and peeps gone pk with whip on your lvl then get prayer

prayer in the long run would be good smite plus range prayer and if your tanking with just T helm you would keep it

what if im not pking for a while, like im not going to pk until im higher range. can i get it so i can use accumulator to make that training easier?

Praryer is good for Ranger and mage, Best prot. From magic and stuff.

 

Get high range then go for like 52 prayer.
