way of stopping spammers

Ok so as we can all see temp bans dont really work... So how about we setup a system like this


1st spam offence = warning
2nd = infraction
3rd = infraction/reset post count to 0


if we want to get rid of peoples spamming useless posts to get their post count up then give them plenty of warning that on the 3rd offence post counts will be reset... Thus the more people spam the less there post count will end up being... This is just a basic idea... some changes would be neccesary before implementation... Not that ideas here are taken seriously.

Not a really intelligent idea, you'll get to many rants, etc. And, staff doesn't have time to deal with that bull shit.

You can also be reseting people's post counts who aren't trying to spam their post count up to scam. >_>

First of all staff already do all that except for the post count resetting...

second of all it is for spam posts not doubles and triple posts...

Lmfao, I wouldn't mind getting my post count reset.
It's really harsh, I mean what if you were someone like with 'Grand Master'
That'd fucking suck man.
Although it really is harsh I think it is relevant if the offence is committed several times.
People should learn what they've done from the first if not at most the second time .
I think the staff already deletes spammed posts when they have the time to which isn't very often.
I think most of the spamming is done in the Runscape Black Market because most people like to bump there topics to get stuff done faster which is practically spam lately because I have seen several amount of people just keep:

It does get annoying because it's basically just free posts and people thinking that it earns trust.
Most people these days ask for vouch thread and a pm so I don't even know why people bother posting a lot for trust.
I mean if people wanted some vouches to get started with I'm pretty sure they could ask someone just for some suggestions.

 

Ooh, nice idea. Well, I think that everyone should know that they shouldn't bump 5 times, or that there actually is an EDIT button, after the first warning, they should know what not to do.

Or perhaps make the third offence a temp ban with the warning

as the third one then on the fourth reset. IDK
