I have the following gamertags, spaced as is.

To the people who don't understand the value, people who are not involved in the xbox market at all.

Gamertags are unique, so "B e n j a m i n" is the same as "Benjamin", only one is allowed to exist.
Basically, by having these you can play safely, and during the next name deletion can instantly claim that name. Basically reserves it for you.

I am in search of a Runescape name for one of these (maybe more depending) i'd say on average each of the gamertags I have listed is worth around $50.

These names can't be transferred until the next time they do a reset. It ensures that you get this exact name when they do a reset.

None of these have ever been signed on to more than once, no consoles, no billing, no security information has ever been added to these.

Is this true? And could you get any proof of that?

I have no experience in gamertags unlike runescape names, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who is wondering this

you can google this information, this is an older thread from before the 2nd reset. I can find more threads but that was just the first result on google.

Basically it was a temporary bug for a month back in 2011 where you could make these spaced tags.

Something similar happened again, but on the phone version. I casually went for a few but i kinda regret not getting more. I had a list of around 50 originally.

 

So say the name 'B e n j a m i n' was released, someone would be able to claim Benjamin normally spaced like how you'd write it?

 

If "Benjamin" was to reset, nobody would be able to claim "Benjamin" because "B e n j a m i n" exists. Gamertags are unique and unaffected by spaces.

 

But if "B e n j a m i n" was reset, then Benjamin would be available? That's what I meant

 

Benjamin and "B e n j a m i n" currently both exist.
So in this case, you'd be waiting for the next reset to claim "benjamin"
