I have had 2 player moderator accounts.
My short - WORKING GUIDE - is

1. Help people out.

Give new players full iron, give a player that looks sorta broke some money, if someone doesn't know what something/somewhere is, show them.

2. Dont report people for
Saying **** you. The censors have already caught the word, So there is no point,

People for light swearing, As in fack this! omfg faucken shlt! Etc. They are just expressing anger. And if it is toward a person. Make sure it is a little longer before you report it.

People for saying hey sexy. etc. They could be friends. But report for saying, Hey lil mama, Looking for a good time, etc.

People for saying, Do you live in the State of/Province of or their first name/age. That isn't really revealing. Report for people asking for postal codes, Phone numbers, Direct addresses, Full name (First+Last) with age.

People for saying, Look at runehq/ Other help sites, Kinda obvious why.
Report for specified sites that look suspicious.

People for auto-talking, They don't really give a fuck. Seriously.

Send in messages to customer support for team scammers (Aka torch, Reed, Charcoal) with the players names, location, Chat logs, and date.

Use periods, Capitals where necessary, Comma's, And don't use short abbreviations.
Don't use any noob/omfg/wtf's
Also. When someone is lost/being scammed/lured, Tell them the truth, Also, When being called a noob. Just walk away, Add them to ignore, And take them off later.

To finish off my guide, After you think you have a good reputation, Make a mod friend. They usually recomend you, Talk a little about the rules and your knowledge of them, And use good grammar.

Hey if you were a player mod then you must've had a lot of training about rules and what is considered breaking a rule or something like that right?

Do you know if jagex can actually track drop trades and how much goes into yur bank?

I drop traded 10M and gave 10M all at one time into my bank and that was about 1 or 2 months ago... Does this mean I'm not banned for sure or what? BTW I am on a last chance and all.

Great guide by the way, if I don;t get banned i will try this so I can atleast increase my standings.

 

Jagex has a file from the start of a account to the current date.
That includes.
Banks.
Drops.
Trades.
Logins.
Everything.
If it was 1 - 2 months ago. And you weren't permanently banned for it withing 3 days to 2 weeks. Your safe

But I have been de-moded on one account because of a drop trade that my friend did.

I was the third or second moderator de-moded.
And the other account was scammed by someone on Sythe.
I luckily recovered it, But it was stripped of its position because I did not keep my password safe.

Oh but can they detect like what you picked up, like a way I'm going to recieve the gp is that they guy is going to die and I am going to pick it up the money that he drops.

So if I don't get banned/black marked for it within 2 weeks of the report/discovery or whatever I'm safe?

Yep you are godly... Looks like I cannot recieve my gp since 1. I am a lvl 3 skiller 2. I'm not a member yet. 3. well yeah, its impossible with all this crazy jagex monitoring system stuff. Jagex could sell their monitoring system to the government and make millions if they wanted to.. jeez!

I bought from stoopid, and he's like the most trusted pay-by-mail seller. He usually does it via duel so I'm not sure how we're gonna do this for me anymore. I will definetely use a MM since I already got scamme 700k for a pin on fagex lol. Thanks for the welcome and most of all thanks for your help! I may as well just turn public chat to friends only so my big mouth doesn't get me banned.

Check out membership sales for a membership.
Use a official middleman (Offical MM).
And most impotently, Have fun
Get the MM's to pm you first so you know its them

Black Marks are a thing that Jagex ignores if your current record is clean.

But Seriously. Jagex aren't going to look at 3 Million ++Account records to see if they've drop traded. I guess they would keep a close eye on there moddies. I had a mod friend. He resigned because he was sick of not being able to swear.

Edit: about how long will it take to become a player moderator if i immediately stopped saying noob omfg and wtf's. I use capitals periods and commas often.

I do have one black mark (0.5) and am combat lvl 100, ive been playing for about 3 years, i got the black mark in the first year

 

They have a type of program that detects drop trades, By using account comparison,

There is no certain time, It just depends on how good you are
And the 3 years thing is good

 

Like 3 months ago I drop traded 20m between my lvl 3 account and my main. Why didn't they detect that =P

 

They cant detect every single drop trade. That would be madness, But they try to get as many as they can.

Lol.. I do this all the time.. And i've sold some accounts to friends for like 10m+ each and we just drop transferred the money.. Not banned..

 

I said they aren't gods.
Their system is awesome, And drop trading isn't to big, RL trading is what they hate now. People get banned for trading 1m when they are friends :S
