How safe are autotypers?

Although I've participated in other illegal activities, I've never actually used any sort of cheating programs on Runescape. I simply never really felt the need to use any such programs. However I've been doing alot of merchanting lately and repeatedly typing that I am buying or selling something over and over again kinda makes my hands hurt.

I'm wondering how easily autotypers can be detected and whether or not I can safely use one on my main. I wouldn't be using it to type so fast that it floods the chatbox, just at an average pace.

Also wondering if there are any decent autotypers that would work on my Mac. I have a PC running Windows but I find my Mac much easier to use.

 

Auto typers are sometimes catchable. If your using them fast in a repeatable sentence then people would report you.

 

I use My Function Keys it just uses the F keys and pretty simple Ive used it for a long time and never been caught.

they arent detectable because runescape doesnt have a hackshield lol you only get caught when you use them stupidly IE: saying something the exact same way 100 times in a minute, ive been using one since classic and i havent been caught

 

Unless you admit to autotyping there is no way to get caught.

 

There is almost no risk of getting banned by using an autotyper. All day long, hundreds of players (and macroers) run them for hours at a time. Your biggest worry would be downloading a safe, working autotyper. If you get one from the verified programs section here at Sythe you should be fine.

 

it really depends on the coder behind the program.
A good coder will try their best to prevent bannage.

As for find a mac program, good luck with that as most people use visual basic which is for windows.
