Samsung Galaxy s6 or iPhone 6plus?

I enjoyed using androids for the purpose of doing unorthodox things. They are more user friendly than the iPhone. I think of an iPhone as a restricted phone with good qualities. Right now I have the iPhone 6+ and I'm happy.

 

I bought my S6 for $250 a year ago and I love it.

Better and more reliable OS in my opinion.

I think that's it, everything else is about the same. People buy Apple just for the apple on the back.

 

For the price and specs i would say Samsung, But i would pick an Iphone if you care about design, interface etc. If you want a Samsung i would wait till march/april cause the rumors are that thats the date the s8 will launch which makes the price drop aswell.

 

Samsung for me, even after their whole Note 7 recall.

Apple phones lack user customizability, as compared to Samsung (Android) phones. Also, the S6 is way more powerful than the iPhone 6s.

 

It depends. If you have a mac computer definitely go for the iPhone 6+. It would definitely help because if it gets stolen at least you can put it into lost mode and track it right away. Unfortunately samsung doesn't have that feature (not that I'm aware of) meaning if you lost your Samsung Galaxy S6, you might have to buy a new one or claim it out on insurance.

 

Apple does lack user customizability, I'll give you that. The iPhone 6s is faster than the Samsung. And as far as updates go, why would you buy a phone if you aren't even going to get the updates immediately after they release? With an iPhone you get your IOS updates at the same time whereas Androids you can go months between updates even though there is one available for others. Seems unfair hey?

The iPhone 6s has the Apple A9 processor. It has 2 cores, with a max clock speed of 1.85 GHz.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 has the Samsung Exynos 7420. It has 8 cores, with a max clock speed of 1.5 GHz.

The S6 also has 3GB of RAM versus Apple's 2GB.

Fine, yes, Android phones don't update as much as Apple phones, but you have to understand that Android phones are represented by many phone manufacturers, who take the newest versions of Android, and slap their own UI on it before shipping the update. This naturally would take longer.

Also, if you buy a Google flagship phone (Nexus/Pixel), you'll get software updates before the rest.

If the application uses only two cores, then yes, the A9 is faster. But if you're talking about benchmarks, which uses all cores, the S6 is faster.

 

I've been an android fan the whole way but my next phone will be the iPhone 6s plus. The massive selling point for me is the camera quality vs "comparable" samsung offerings. It's really not even close.

 

Despite the fact that I use Android Smartphone, I vote for Iphone.

 

Wife has the galaxy S7 and it seems pretty good, but I am personally an Iphone man.
