What are the odds?

What are the odds of winning a stake if your opponent has hasta but doesn't have pid?

And odds of winning due to last second HP regen?

 

Don't think anybody here on Sythe has the time to do the maths.. I'd say that it's enough for not doing the stake.

I'd say so but I'd much rather do 50/50 every time. I never stake if the person has hasta and idk I just don't recommend it

 

In my experience its 55-60% odds with hasta, but never stake a hasta alot of stakers know that with hasta u get odds because off the bonus from hasta so stake only 50/50 vs without hasta staker or do x staking for ur odds

Whip only vs Whip+Hasta

Additional assumption here, you don't also have a Hasta, and regardless of who has PID, your attacks a seperated enough to switch styles OR weapons between attacks. The player with only a whip is switching between Attack+Block, and the player with the hasta is only switching weapons, thus switching between Attack+Controlled, but also having +13 slash defence. If, like the streamer I was watching, you're tricked into a "Whip only stake" where your opponent sneaks in a hasta here are your odds:



Take-aways: If you get Hasta "scammed" and you get PID, your odds are still alright (albeit still lower than if you had PID and they didn't have a Hasta). If you don't get PID, good luck.
