Is RuneScape wasting your life?

You have trouble socialising with friends or studying at school/college/university because of runescape?

maybe runescape do something else to you? post here

Yes its wasting my life, Now read the stickies.

 

I practicily ended my "real life" for Runescape.
Yet, I don't have problems, dealing with Real life.
I have a "life" when I want one.
But to answer your question;
It sometimes is but it sometimes isn't.

I learned so much from Runescape, my grammar has gotten better, I learned to spell better, then school would of done.

Because I'm the type who see's words from others and just learns from it.

you choose to play the Game if you
therefore u want to have fun by playing it
and you think you are not wasting your life..
but when it comes to social life

as LifeSavers said you have the choice to go out
you dont have to, and what people think of
you will make no difference lol..

i stopped playin runescape tho :/
only because i cbfed to keep training..

 

Well i dont play runescape really alot only on breaks when i have nothing to do.

 

Nahh. I have a couple of hours onit a week. Not obsessive.

 

Yes, I do think Runescape is wasting my life.

I'm really disappointed in the way I've acted because of this game. I've blew off my friends for so long because of it.

 

Yes it's wasting lot of time. But actually i dont have any friends to be with.

 

I still go out a fair bit, but if I'm busy on RS I'd happily refuse to go out with my friends..

 

it was wasting my life until I stopped about a year or so ago when I realised it really was boring and I was getting stressed and frustrated and lord knows whatelse because of it.

I wasted hours on it. hours every single day from when I got home from school to when I went to bed. Those hours are something I can never get back from the past. I have to deal with my previous stupidity by forcing it in to the deep dark hole that we call forgetfulness. Anyway, those hours could have been used to further a courrier in programming, or to at least go out every once in a while and kick the footy with my dad. Too bad I never listened to my real consience for so many long years.

It has wasted years of my life. Years that could have been used to proffesionalize my skills in programming languages such as C++, and international languages such as Japanese. Ah well, too late to whine about it now.

But to some it up - yes, it has. Thats why I no longer play it.

 

Yes RuneScape waste life. Thats why I quit a few months ago. I'm having 100x more fun staying off RuneScape than playing it.

 

yeah wastes ALOT of time for me.

 

Runescape isn't ruining my life it just is consuming alot of my time.
So i end up doing homework on the day.

 

yea runescape is helping me get better at somethings, but also i need to catch up on hw cause of rs

 

ya, its cutting into school now that i started back, i gotta stop again

yup. That is why i quit rs months ago.

 

Yes, it wasting my life too. But that's ok, because ill eventually get bored

 

i play runescape for fun, i have a life other then the computer just not atm since my bikes broken, i lost my football, i cant really run (operation on the 17th of october), i have epilepsy and to finish all that off i live on a farm so i'm out of town an i'm not allowed to cross roads cause of epilepsy
