OSRS 3rd Party Clients

So for some time i have seen the usage the usage of 3rd party clients such as OSB and Konduit. I know there are people who would swear by their preferred choice of client. My question is this how can you guys be so sure that the developers of OSB and Konduit wont screw all of us over. I mean you could argue, "Oh why would they do that ?" or like they have no reason to do so. But thing is they are able to do it if they wanted to. Im talking about things like stealing of info (2FA can protect you so rather negligible) or like make the client look like a bot.

Is it just me or does the possibility of them actually having the ability to make a change that could get all of us banned, really knackers me. Personally i have used OSB for a long long time and recently started using Konduit (Prefer the overlays here), and honestly find myself having to rely on it quite a bit when i PVM and skill.

Now everytime i try and switch to the vanilla client i just give up after 5 mins (LITERALLY UNPLAYABLE) I use Konduit atm and am loving it. I know some of you will go, "Oh if your scared then dont use it", but thats the not point i am trying to make. Just wanna know if these probabilities actually bother you.

 

If they were going to screw us over they would have already done it imo when gold was pricier. Osbuddy also makes monthly revenue from its pro users and konduit gets donations. They would be stupid to scam as jagex would probably ban the accounts they traded all the gold to.
