    how to unencrypt an encrypted windows file
    is this possible? its my file from my home pc, but i am hundreds of miles away from it but have an encrypted file from it.. you get it? i cant imagine its possible, and i've googled a bit..
    but i'd appreciate if anyone has good ideas

    Just so we're both clear the file you need decrypted is on your computer currently at your house and you are not there. If that is the case it's not impossible you just need the right person, nothing is ever impossible.

    It also depends upon how it was encrypted. If you don't have the key/EFS certificate, good luck decrypting the file. If it was as simple as downloading a tool and clicking a button (and in some cases it is), then it wouldn't be called 'encryption'.
