New msn scam*Important* Also how not to get scammed! Tips

Hey guys ive had a run in with a few "fakes" being able to immitate a official MM/Mod's msn to the exact. I have researched this a little bit and i have had conversations with them(Honestly i think it is just one person seeing as there is never 1 or more fake on at a time).

First off ALWAYS ask for a PM.(In this conversation i knew he was a fake when he was added and the first thing i asked for was a PM.) I will show you the screenie and i will tell you what the problem is.

Now. Lets see there is a big problem with that. A mod(i know hes fake) told me that he can't access sythe to PM me yet he expects me to logon sythe to view his profile. THERE IS A BIG FRIGEN PROBLEM THERE!

Second. Knowing that this was a fake when he was added i decided i would mess around with im a little bit and tell him the link wasn't working. Again i asked him for his link


On this third image i keep complaining how it doesn't seem to be working. Now i find it funny because he says hold on ill get it again. Then he says one second and 12 seconds later hes like re-try. To me that shows me that he clicked the link and it worked for him. So that is now the second time that he hinted to me he was a fake.


On this one its kinda just a show how i know hes not a mod and yet again a scammer. A mod will not scream at you like this(i hope). Also his name... Matthew states his msn will always say Matther /\ Dark Night.


Also yet another way to tell. Since i already had Matthew on my account. And this matthew showed up as offline i requested that he add me. And you can tell hes a fake because it added 2 matthews!


Last but not least. But if you add a mod. and you hover over his name and a bar goes from the top to bottom of your screen. Whether its solid or not HE IS A SCAMMER


This guide is to help people spot scammers in affect that it will cut down on scamming. Instead of going after the scammers Edutcate the people so they will be able to spot scammers thus cutting down on scamming. Along with this guide i will also provide a few tips:

Tips to help you not get scammed.

• Always have a PM even if not official
• You can get most officials Msn's from their thread
• If you are unsure about the msn. copy and paste both of them into word and compare
• When buying an account buy from somebody with vouches(that have to do with selling accounts)
• Always Research the user(Verify old vouches)
• Try to use official MM/Mod most of the time
• Even though the fees for Officials/Mods are expensive that extra 1.5M could save you being scammed half the 15M(based on 10% fee and 15M trade)
• If you feel uncomfortable before a trade and are worried. DON'T DO IT.
• If you HAVE to do 50/50 and the other person is trying to make your first payment higher. chances are they are going to walk away with it

Yea but the only reason it added 2 was because i already had matthew added. And this is pretty in depth.

EDIT: I have just seen it. mine is a little more in depth where i talk to this scammer as if im really buying something. Also i show how it adds 2 mods for me. he shows it as 2 e-mail address's

ONLY way to escape from this is viewing your MSN contacts by their email addresses rather than their nick names and asking for a PM.

 

Yup, scamming is that bad at the moment.

 

thanks for guide eventho this have been earlier.. I find that so gay when you can use like 10000 spaces between the message and your real e-mail. many falls for that :S

Well there is a easy way not to get scammed by it.. all u say is.. pm me on sythe.. and they block u if there a fake lol.. just becareful ppl/
