Yeah it still works... but if there at 10 hp for example... poison isn't going to hit twice during your emote... and then you will just die once your emote is finnished.

 

Arrrrgh this would ownnnn but jagex fixed it....

 

use the easter cape! tried it and it worked, but it doesn't work as well as the skill capes

Notice how you can tell half these people don't even read posts because they sit there and say omg i'll try this when i get a 99 skill! after someone already said it doesn't work...

 

There is also another way, do the easter cape emote which turns you into an egg. You can't recieve damage then.
