Can't move file to my D Drive

Hi. I've been having problems related to this ever since I built my PC. This was my first time building my own PC and I guess I messed something up, so my SSD is my C Drive, and my actual hard drive is my D Drive. I tried setting it so when I download programs it automatically goes to my D Drive, but sometimes it messes up and still goes to my C Drive.

My problem is, there's this app called Popcorn Time. Even when I try changing the directory to my D Drive, it will still go to my C Drive. I can't watch movies on there anymore because it ate up too much space and my C Drive is full, but I legit don't know how to move it over to my D Drive (if I try dragging and dropping the folder to the other drive it says the application is in use, when it's not. I've checked.)

Can some technology wizard please help me out here? I need to watch Workaholics.

It doesnt store files locally, just streams them.

Also, it sounds like your boot is actually your SSD, considering your applications are natively dumping their storage on that drive, C is also the first drive letter assigned to boot devices by default.

 

That's the app he's talking about. It's probably saving some data if you can rewind without reloading.

The only people who will know why this program won't install an another drive is the people who looked at the code. Create an issue here.

You can try another torrent downloader like
WebTorrent - Streaming browser torrent client

Or just download your torrents 10 minutes before you want to watch them.

 

There are multiple versions of popcorntime, some of them download the video your watching to your local drive and continue seeding after finishing the movie/series.

 

Just use Kodi yo.

 

In the settings of popcorn time change the "Cache directory" to your D drive.
