Spelling.

I just read that sentence 4 times and I still don't think I understood it. :S

Anyways, people that were talking about discrimination, it's not just people that don't know english. Alot of people just plain don't care..And yes it pisses me off too. I should only have to read a sentence 1 time to understand it. Not 5.

I read it once, and if the author could speak using proper grammar it'd look something like this.

I agree, we need to take more pride in spelling.

Anyways, I still agree with SlaveOfTheBeast. Spelling is atrocious on most of the boards on here. I think it should be a warning, like you said, but then maybe even make it a 1 day temporary ban for the second time. It may be a bit harsh, but if you think of all the posts moderators will miss or simply won't infract upon, it could be a long time till they actually accrual 3 infractions to get banned.

 

Just get out.

 

I hate it when people spell bad and use bad grammar, it makes me mad. But I also hate it when people yell at others for making one mistake in what they said, you can't spell right all the time. But I do agree with this topic.

Accrual is a noun meaning the act or process of gathering. Accrue is a verb meaning the growth or accumulation of something.

I think its not fair, i mean we aren't all americans here. Some from various parts of the world were english is a second language so we can't help them. We should not give out warning and discriminate against individuals.

 

Of course it's not going to happen, even people who claim to have perfect grammar don't all the time.

I try my best to make sure every word is spelled rite, but I wont look as hard as i would if this was a 500 word essay. or a paper were every misspelled word is 10 points. Since this IS the internet..

 

Your 16 years old and you type like your a 7 year old, thats not normal, be quiet. Plus, with your spelling/grammar and your horrible graphics, you do make the graphics section here on Sythe look disgusting.
