Is the market slow right now?

I have received like no traction on account threads, anyone else experiencing this?
I know it's not dead obv, but it's slow going.
Summer needs to come!

 

Everything seems pretty normal in the market for torsos, it might just be a random dry spell. There were times where my team went two weeks without a sale when we'd be expecting one or two a day on average so I wouldn't be too worried unless it was a long term issue.

Yeah, I'm definitely not worried, things just usually move faster

 

Account market has been suffering due to its like 25% fraud rate, which is like 10x higher than any other market in the industry, when ur markets filled with scammers(1/4 I'd say), its going to suffer.

 

I'll be honest, I think the scam rate is closer to 80, or even 90% instead of the 25% mentioned above. Granted, most transactions go smoothly at first, but it's an undeniable fact that a great majority of them end up getting recovered in the long run.

I think people, including myself, are just fed up with that. I admit, I used to be into the rs account buying/selling market a lot more actively than I am now, and really, I love many of the accounts currently being sold on Sythe, but I just now that i'm playing with fire.

Also, it's school time/work time for many, so this is basically the down time for runescape, and consequently, the runescape market. It'll come back to life once we approach summer, although so will the scams.

 

Yeah this is good insight from both you guy's.
It's a shame, even back when I first joined, the market seemed to be popping a lot more.
Although I was by no means active, it seemed A LOT more fluid.
It's moving rather slow for me currently.
