I didn't recover the account. Is there any way I can prove that I didn't? That's not my e-mail too.

    Coze Scam Report

About an hour ago, Plastori messaged me on Facebook asking me if I recovered the account. The thing is I conducted a little investigation and found out that the account joined a clan 6 minutes after he messaged me. The account is not in my possession.

    Coze Scam Report

Its sad to see that I got a DNT for a scam report that I did not commit.

First, he messaged me that the account was recovered (at 10pm my time):
Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

However, I did a little investigation and found out that the account had activity and joined a clan after he messaged me. This is proof that the account was still in his possession, for he personally admitted that he joined the clan himself. The time in the photo below is 11:28pm. He joined the clan 46 minutes before 11:28pm. Way after he messaged me at 10pm that the account was recovered.
Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

There is also more room for doubt when he told me that the clan is irrelevant, and I should edit the post I made with the Facebook message. This happened after I replied to his scam report with the time differences.
Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

His statements were also inconsistent. First, he said that his recovery request has been denied and that the account is locked. Then he said that he received an e-mail from someone named [email protected] and the account probably isn’t locked because it wasn’t a legit e-mail. This can mean two things - either the fake e-mail says that the account is locked and is asking for more information about his recovery that was just denied (I have no idea how this could have happened) or; he got phished and gave his account information to the hacker.

If the case was he got phished which he says that he didn’t:
    • He’s probably playing Runescape long enough to know the basic rule that a Jagex staff will never ask for your account information in-game and off-site.
    • And if he really got phished and gave his account information to the hacker, (lets say the username, password, and recovery information) the hacker still needs access to Plastori’s e-mail in order to change the account’s password and e-mail. On the other hand, the hacker also cannot use the account’s information and do a recovery because Plastori himself said that he tried to recover the account with the info that I provided and it didn’t work. Most probably because of the IP differences.
I believe that he sold the account offsite, and now he’s trying to recover it. He sold an account offsite before:

It's really disappointing that Yankiee just gave me a ban because I'm not that trusted and it was an account trade. I am willing to recover the account for Plastori if necessary, but I'm just really disappointed that I got DNTd without proper investigation despite the screenshots that I posted.

I tried using the recovery information Coze gave me, however, I received an email that the attempt failed. I then received an email from [email protected] which said the account was locked and required further information to unlock the account. I passed this notification email on to Coze before realising it was a fake email. I, however, never emailed anyone any information.

I have sold an account offsite before, but I don't see what relevance this has - I have confirmed I've been playing the game. Just to reiterate, I haven't sold the account to anyone, I've been playing it myself. I've bought a few mil GP for myself too, which I could show the email too, which suggests I've been playing the account.

I'm in the process of talking to Coze on facebook in order to resolve the problem. However, nothing has been sorted as of yet.

    Useful information,

10pm , he messages you accounts locked

    11:48pm , he joined a clan?

If account was attempted to be recovered @Coze , it would instantly lock the account.

Anyways there's no dates in the time, so you could have took it the next day

p.s ur gf looks gud @Plastori (also useful information) no infraction plz

@Coze It's nothing personal - I DNT anyone in this situation; it's the easiest way to avoid other problems occurring during an open case.

Regardless, if he claims the account has been locked/recovered, the first thing we ask is for the seller/original owner to recover & return the account to the buyer.

Regarding the time stamps though, I don't think the account had been recovered at the time he claimed.

@Plastori How is it that you joined a clan ~40 mins after you said it was recovered?

Everything happened last night, I replied to this thread immediately after replying to Plastori in Facebook.

This is what intrigues me. Why claim that the account has been recovered when it was actually still in his possession.

Moreover, I think this proves that I did not recover the account. I still haven't sent a recovery request from the time of the incident because I didn't want the account recovered if he really did sold it.

    Coze Scam Report

Why are people talking about me joining a clan 40 minutes after I said it was recovered?
edit: surely the runeclan website needs manually updating? or re-updates automatically every time period. Not a live update feed. I joined the clan literally seconds before the recovery.

    This is what happened:

The account is only a few requirements away from comp cape. 1 requirement left is to kill all monsters (hence the vindicta KC in the adventure log). The account has not killed either of the raids bosses. I see a global message saying someone received a raids drop, so I add them to ask if I can join their raids clan. He said yes, and comes to meet me in Priff to invite me to the clan. After he invites me, we decide to go to Greg (GWD2 boss) to start ticking off the other bosses I haven't killed.

I gear up to go, and during this time I get logged out of the game. I try to relog and it says incorrect password. I then try to recover the account, at which I took the screenshot of the persons current email.

Here is proof that I bought GP on the 2nd of Feb! Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet
I bought the GP to buy the gear to go bossing. Can we please drop the whole thing about whether I sold the account or not? This, quite frankly, is delaying the time the PIN gets wiped and access to my bank is possible.

edit: to further prove its me, I'm a fan of hai_im_lucas, who is a streamer and YouTuber of RS3. You can see me in his friends chat here Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet and this video was uploaded on the 1st of Feb.

I have reason to believe that the Runeclan website does not need manually updating, nor it updates at a certain time period. Check this event log of one the top clans: Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet

As you can see, the time patterns are very distinct from each other. Hence, Runeclan is either a live feed, or updates every time the tracked user logs out (like how the runescape high scores update)

If this is the case, then Runeclan must have updated immediately after the account has been recovered, for it has already logged out. Not 40 minutes after he claims it to be.

Why are you getting caught up with this whole clan thing? If I had been playing after claiming the account had been recovered why would I confirm about joining a clan if I knew I had done it after the time period?

I've already provided as much as I can to help show it was me that has been playing.

I'll just wait to see what @Yankiee says

It's funny that you're so one sided and inconsiderate with other possibilities just because I'm the original owner. I'm not stalling. Even Yankiee knows that the recovery didn't happen at the time he claimed. I have no problem recovering the account, just waiting for a staff's response. I'm just trying to prove my innocence, as it can tarnish my reputation. And can't you see the time stamp?

Why are you even replying to this thread anyways? You're not directly involved. Read the stickies. And for the record, I did not recover the account. And the pictures posted above can prove it.

@Plastori Those quotes are before I posted what I have.

Regardless, I'm pretty sure we still have 5/6 days before the pin gets removed if the account really was "recovered"

@Coze You still need to recover the account for him. If someone comes forward after saying they bought the acc then we can cross that bridge when we get to it.
