So because these are "just runescape forums man" you get to type so badly you have to read the post twice to understand it's meaning? Of course this isn't national debating, but typing proper English is a courtesy to others. You type better, so they don't have to bother trying to identify every single word. I mean Firefox even has a built in spell checker to save you the trouble to even THINK for a second.

And the fact this is a Runescape community doesn't take away from the fact it IS a community. Don't assume just because there's 12 year olds on here everybody types leik we r teh shizzles lul!

I think the admins should first look at the scammers and shit cause sythe is full of them, and many people don't want to buy/sell here because of so many scammers.. :S

One could make the retort that you do not capitalize your 'I' in almost every sentence you use the singular pronoun. While I agree, I notice you single one person out in your attack on spelling, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but could be seen as a flame by some.

Also @ OP:
Trying to get the internet to correct its spelling is like trying to breed cats with sea-sponges. Eventually you'll want to cut your wrists with a rusty chainsaw that has no blade, and then smear feces and semen all over the wound.

 

I was just using him as an example, since he is probably the worst speller on sythe.

 

This was basically a stupid idea, so what people don't spell correctly or use good grammar? does it REALLY matter? I mean whoever made this thread, WTF is your benefit if your able to read some kids post? it's not like you get paid or something to live on Sythe.

 

Though it's a meager amount on a timed basis, someone with the rank 'Middleman' on Sythe has the opportunity to draw a good amount of money from the website.

 

Yes that is a seperate issue, but we're talking about some people who have problems with other people's grammar and spelling, I mean if someone really wants some kid on the internet to type properly, why not pay for them to go to some english languages course?
