For those who don't know, Euthanasia is basicly killing a person or animal, because some people consider them as hopeless. This is because they have been in a coma for many years, or being kept alive by machines. What are your views on this topic? Here's mine.

I personally don't think euthanasia is a good thing. This is because the victum does not get a choice if they are put down. I think it's okay if it's in their will, but otherwise no. Why? Because their is always the chace that the miracle will come through, because it has happened before. The human body is still a mystery, and we have not and never will find out enough to know if a person truely will never recover.

People who torture animals for their own enjoyment should be subjected to Euthanasia.

Well it really depends on the person for example if a person is in a state of vegetation. With no chance of recovery and no hope i think the best thing to do is Euthanasia. It all really depends on the person and the circumstances.

Youre definition is slightly wrong, because the person may be dieing and could out forward their views on Euthanasia. So, in a way some do have a choice. I think that it depends on the circumstances.

I hate the idea of it but some people have to be let go. They just have to. If theyve been hanging on by a thread in a coma for 6 years and everyday they use up resources that healthy people desperately need, it is time to pull the plug. But thats why i think its better to make your choice now. Leave a signed document saying whether or not you want to die. But I really do want to say that I dont like the choice. I would never want it to be left up to me whether or not to kill someone.

euthanasia is a cowardly way to die. Maybe people have so much pain (because of their illness) that they wan't to cancel their life. I can understand it. But they should also know they are considered lucky, because 500 years ago, we didn't have that technology to help people to become better.

I agree, euthanasia should be illegal. The person freely does not get a choice to agree with his or her death. Besides, all of you have heard of miracles before. Almost anythings possible.

Euthanasia is natural, Being in a vegitated state for months on end being kept alive by a mechanical machine, not natural. If you were in a vegetative state, couldn't move, couldn't eat, couldn't speak, your technically not even a functioning human being at that point. You're parents are paying out the ass for lifesupport, and your taking up someones bed space who actually needs it. The chances for "Miracles" to happen when the doctor says there's really no fighting chance, it's usually the case. It may seem wrong but your really releasing that soul for being encarcerated in it's flesh grave.

if your in a vegetativ state for more than a year your basicly dead. when your in vegetative state for to long and you do come back your basicly brane dead, you lose your primary brain function. in some cases the patient will be able to talk, but wont be able to remember anything not be able to walk and saying a few words is all they can do. discovery health channel ftw, lol.

Dude. Seriously, get your facts straight. It is about the hardest thing in the world to put an end to your suffering if you choose to do so. Euthenasia is only considered by doctors if the patient has given explicit agreement. Furthermore he needs to be in terminal state and a team of doctors make sure that he or she is VERY certain. 2 doctors will have to sign and the patient as said before needs to be in no position of ever recovering. In your post you insinuate that patients are given a shot like in an animal shelter. Not the case so please...
