Confused On This Infraction!!

I've just noticed this today, and I'm a little upset by it, even though my infraction ends next week.
I recieved an infraction on 9/3/07 for spamming-I posted about a guy's sig, and he posted a thread to ask how to delete recovs.
And I completely understand why I recieved an infraction, it was off topic and I was wrong, but what I don't understand is, 2 people who posted after me, ALSO commented on his sig, but they did not recieve anything.
Can someone please look into it for me?
