How they scammed:
Basically, My friend asked If I had gp for sale, Id known him for a while so decided to go first. He brought his second account HitThisEIY , confirmed it was him , after trading it he tried to play it off as it wasn't his account and really doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what he was trying to do. Firstly , Bit of a coincidence, He confirms its him then tries to say, wtf dude that wasn't me, Not like theres a 1000 people with this name, Obviously what he was trying to do was " Scam a quick 57m" , I have provided all relevant screenshots below, Im not looking for a refund , just kinda sad that he was a long term friend and scammed for such a meger ammount. Really appriciate if any mods look into this , Thanks GpGiant.


SideNote: I get I traded His Imposter account , but after him confirming it was him, its so obvious what he was trying to do here, as i mentioned before doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. just sad as I've known him a while as we were both in same clan.

I didn't trade him anything, lots of gold sites tend to have imposters when selling gold. This was just one of those cases. Two things could have happened here: 1. Someone knew my skype details and decided to imposter 2. The seller impostered trying to anti-scam me in hopes of getting me banned. I'm an offsite donator as well as have vouches for selling over 400m+ on here. I wouldn't scam for a meager 50m as he stated when him and I have done stakes and split each other 200m+ . I will try to get this sorted as soon as possible. I also take recordings of every trade I do to ensure scams don't happen, but since the trade wasn't on my side I don't have trade evidence.

First Of all , You don't have a gold site ... Its not even built. Secondly , Why would anybody try to imposter you, when all you've done is sell a bit of gold to some big name buyers. Thirdly , bit of a coincidence I mention the world , the trade and price , and all of a sudden a level 3 account , pops up, Im sorry but this is as clear as can be, its obvious what you've tried to do, and Im sure any half smart moderator will agree, and beable to see through your bullshit story. Finally If This REALLY WASN'T YOU , why would you confirm that it is , as seen in this picture.

Why Confirm if not you?? #busted << Just proves it all , and what you were trying to do, I May be new buddy , but im not dumb.

 

1. As I stated, someone could have had access to the skype account 2. When my messages pop up on skype its a push notification I'm not directly on the skype app when I respond at times, I thought you were asking for a 2nd time confirming the name. If a mod requires a "refund" I'll be happy to work something out. But you're also a new comer with no feedback and just joined the site. Seems a bit fishy.

 

May Be A Newcomer , But I sold 80m and 50m before and after you're scam.

Alright, well I'm only saying that because obviously my sythe account (and accounts on other forums) is more important than 50m. Might I add, you've also been banned on sythe before.

 

First of all, if your account was hacked you still take full responsibility for the amount scammed. It does not matter that he was banned before, you still owe him the money you may have scammed

 

This is the reason I was thinking I may have to "refund", however theres no actual proof it was hacked as I had no other issues

 

No you have to refund you take full responsibility of what happens on your account
