Bought an account and it got banned after i logged in to it once.

Hi can someone help me with this i bought an account of Searchy he is a legit guy has many vouches but i logged on to the account once then went to eat and when i came back to log in it was permanently banned. what do i do in this situation as this isn't my fault as i didn't even have time to do anything on the account was on it for less then 15 minutes.

I am banning your account as you were previously banned for vading on @Mirwais. Please reply on the account as a guest. This case will take sometime so please be patient.

 

Wadim could you please provide me a screenshot of the ban reason and show evidence its the same account you purchased.

after paying for this account i logged in and transfered 900k on to it and bought some items and logged out and went to eat when i got back it was permanently banned. The seller didnt state on there post that they wont be held responsible for the account being banned that fast.

What were the terms discussed when the account was being sold? @Searchy and Tamin

 

@Azie there were no terms and conditions discussed I added him on Skype and asked him how much he wanted for the account he told me the a/w price which I was happy to pay we met up in game I paid and got the email and pass logged in for 5 minutes went ask to eat after that for a bit and when I got back I tried logging in and it was banned.

 

As there wont ever be concrete proof who was responsible for the RWT ban it seems that you @Searchy could be liable for a 50% refund. The base of idea is from the following thread: MooTrucks Account Banned

There was lack of evidence and at the end it was decided a split refund. Do you have any other useful information in regards to this case?

I don't see why I could be held liable for the ban? I've trained the account from scratch and never did a single rwt on the account. All my gold selling business is conducted from a VPS; that is in no way trackable to my home IP, so it's not fair at all that I have to refund 50% of the purchase price. It's common sense that any ban received after the purchase is not my liability.

 

@Azie can vouch that @Tamin is a very heavy rwter, and it seems unlikely that he only transferred 900k to the account. Obviously the account would need more wealth and it was under my impression that he won big in the duel arena beforehand.

 

Yeah I can but that isn't relevant enough in this case. It's a possibility but not concrete enough.

 

Thats fine @Searchy @Azie he can vouch for you claiming i am a big rwter and that i had a lot of GP on the acc but i got facebook messages and the messages i sent you on skype which proves i didnt have much yesterday. i had 601m i paid you 400m for the account and then i sold you 200m so i had like 900k left which i transfered on to the account and bought the skill capes then logged out and went to eat and when i got back i logged in and straight away told you what had happened. if i had put a lot of GP on there i would tell you i got banned with this amount of GP and be really angry about it. i only use one account to rwt for the past year and its not been banned even once the RSN IS IGJ. you just told me on skype you got scammed today and cant pay 50% so you are trying to find anyway possible to not repay i dont mind you can do that but in this case i dont see how its fair on me paying 400m for an account i used for 5 minutes. the biggest amount that came of the account during the time of the trade was by you xfering 100m to your mule as you stated on skype so yes its not my fault at all jagex dont ban accounts for trading 1m over.

 

@Searchy @Azie i hold searchy liable for the account being banned and i have solid evidence that i only had 1m on the acc and that searchy was RWTING just before the account was sold and when i paid him the 400m he told me he would xfer 100m of the account i bought. i have my facebook messages for yesterday when i bought the account speaking to my friend about the acc and when i logged out with 1m on the acc and when i got back it was banned. he should be fully liable for the ban as i have clearly done nothing wrong even 50% aint fair in this case even though i wanted to be fair with him at first but when he tried to get azie to vouch for him it just pissed me off since he admited to being scammed today by someone and doesnt want to refund me at all so he wants any way possible to avoide repaying me.

skype conversations with searchy confirming he was rwting before the sale and he xfered 100m of the account which was considerably more then the 900k i had put on the account.

also just to add in the skype messages it clearly states that i have 350m and i made him that offer he refused so i told him i would try and stake and make more to pay him 400m in 6 minutes i couldnt have made 10b to put on the account and get it banned for rwt can i? this is actually ridiculous @Searchy you are clearly lying.

If the main was banned for that trade, then sure my mule would be banned too right? Then how is my mule unbanned but only my main is banned? That doesn't make any sense lol, if you only had 600m why would you sell all your gold without having any left, you just bought a new account you're telling me you're going to play on it with 900k? Plus you're a heavy staker you would always keep some gold on your account.

Saying you only have 350m is just a method to bargain, doesn't actually mean you only have that. You were just seeing if I would accept that. You could've had billions.

 

@Searchy thats fine mate just cause azie claimed I'm a major rwter doesn't mean anythingI have evidence I don't think you have anything against me? The plan was for my friend to do zulrah on the account so that we can stake and rebuild so no I never had billions I had 900k which I used to buy skill capes and log out till my friend got online so we can start zulrah but yet funnily enough the account didn't even last me 15 minutes. So I would tell my friend I had 1m on the account am I bargaining with him also?

As there isn't concrete evidence for who was responsible I still think a split refund is the correct decision. I will ask opinions of other staff members so that its more of a collective decision.
