    12/21/12, Novelty Theory, ETC

Ok this thread shall officially cover everything related to the end of the Mayan Tun calendar, Terence McKenna's Novelty theory and Timewave Zero, the end of the I Ching (as represented in Timewave Zero), the pole shift and all other trippy shit kind of related.

I will start this off with a few videos that are quite thought provoking.

Nibiru/Planet X (This was disproved however there is still some evidence planet X could exist)

Before we get started here, it's important to understand what we're discussing. Do outside research, it's a pretty fun topic to discuss.

The only way we'll know for sure is to just wait.

For the record, most people don't think the world is going to end on 12/21/12. Not in the traditional sense anyway. Some people theorize time travel or some great discovery or change that makes having a calendar unnecessary. Another rather outlandish prediction is that people begin to "see" in 4d, thus making every point in time available at any given time. Both of these would cause time to go non-linear and could possibly explain why Timewave Zero drops off like it does.

Before smart asses come in here with their science you need to understand something. We really don't understand as much as we think we do as a human race and this is evident over and over again through history. Each civilization credits themselves with being correct and thinks of previous civilizations as being crazy for them being wrong. More often than not, these new civilizations don't have it right either.

Lets look at some novelty throughout the years.

The Big Bang. This is pretty fucking novel if you ask me. Crazy and weird but yet it happened.

Evolution/creation of the human race. Whether or not you buy into the annunaki design theory, the development of an intelligent race like ourselves seems pretty improbable don't you think?

    The first cell splitting. Etc.

There are countless things that seemed impossible at times previous to their occurrence. Now, at the omega point of infinite novelty something is going to happen crazier and more fucked up than all of these. At least that's the theory. Discuss.

I prefer waiting till 2012 and see if it actually happens than to believe in something like this.

I love the thread, and before you guys flame and call the ideas stupid, there was a time when the earth's brightest minds thought that the world was flat.

I'm supprised that this hasn't recived more attention to be honest with you. This is all psuedoscience so as long as what you say is backed by SOME sort of fact no one is going to flame you. Just start talking or asking questions. I know what I know but what do you think about this type of thing?
