    I go to an ALC (Alternative Learning Center) and the dress code is little to none.

    The only think the school asks, is no clothes advertising/promoting drugs/weaponry/alcohol. I think it is respectable, and easily manageable.

    I think you were right. I would've told her to fuck off.

    They should just have a code that is you have to wear real clothes.

    MY school from Year 8-Year 10 you have yo wear this ugly teal shirt. It's horrific. Year 11 and Year 12 we get to wear white shirts which are much nicer. My last term of year 10 though I get to wear a white one :) Holidays have just started too so next term's uniform FTW.
    Our school is also very strict on uniforms. Being out of code results in 30m detention. If you are frequently out of uniform you get in-school suspension (sitting in a room by yourself for the whole day). I personally think it's over the top but our school wants to maintain top public school for our district.

    your arguement isnt that bad, but every year at my school we have pajama day and the girls with really good bodies start to eat away at the pajamas... I call it ass day. And my school doesnt let us wear 2 articles of the same clothing, because of gangs... So I understand.

    Why do you think you can't wear Pajama pants in your school?

    Don't you think you should have some sort of sophisticated smartness?
    (Smartness as in referring to looking smart.)

    Consider yourselves lucky. English students have to wear uniforms.

    Looking smart and being smart is completely different, dont think that if you can dress the profile you will be... Your work should be reflected by itself not your clothes...

    I suppose it's good your organized a non-violent way of protesting, but I doubt it would/will change anything. Schools have strict policies which they don't create, they simply enforce. Anyways, If it's a private school you probably would be expelled for making this thread.

    Private school are way overrated. If you live in a good town, the facilities are great. In our town, 2 years ago a new school was built and it was AMAZING.

    public man
    which makes it gayer
    and about that whole gettin suspended for not pledging your allegiance
    can they actually do that? like legally?

    i understand where your coming from
    but their still just pants and they dont violate any other codes
    their perfectly fine and not crazy or provocative in any way whatsoever

    in my school sum kid shot himself in the head in the bathroom
    and another one almost cut his wrist off when he was trippin on acid

    public school m8
    and also its not an actual dress code rule
    its not in the student handbook or anything
    just that the new principals an uber bitch

    exactly!
    so many people think im a complete retard because i sleep through all my classes but most of the time we'll take a test and ill finish in 5 minutes and the other person will take an hour. then when their passed back the other person is freaking out about a 75 when i get a 96. im greatness in the making i tell you

    Listen.. If the school has a policy with no pajamas than you should respect that. Even though it may seem unfair and probably is, its tough luck.

    And whats so wrong with public schools...?

    Nothing is wron with public schools at all... I just think that when a parent pays thousands of dollars for there kid to go to school, they dont let there grades slip...
