"best" is the most broad term in pc building, since there are so many parts you can use. In my definition, best = most performance per dollar, so i'd go for an amd build, this is why it is always recommended you build your own PC instead of letting someone else build one for you, do your own research, ask people on threads, and you'll eventually find your 'dream' build. As far as the PC's you've linked, they're both 100% capable of doing high end gaming, simply because their parts are all high end, you won't need to upgrade anything, the computer with the 1080 would be better than the 1070 computer.

Honestly, you need to steer away from googled results of "best PC build"; because as Jack said, it is so subjective. There's also the fact that these PC websites are often paid for their advertisements of other parts; furthermore, there are small changes you can make that can save you hundred(s) of dollars. I.E. I stay away from Samsung EVO drives. Everyone says they're great, I believe them, but I'd rather pay $100 for a 480GB PNY SSD and apply the money saved somewhere else. You do not need a K processor if you're not overclocking and unless you're really into it, I wouldn't suggest one. I7's are also over-rated in the sense that they will gain you a frame-rate or two when playing a game. Your GPU is doing the heavy lifting (more intensive things i.e. video editing is a different story). I also have 8GB of RAM. May I pick up another 8 in the future? Maybe. But there was absolutely no need for me to drop another $60 on 8GB of RAM when 8 carries my rig just fine.

Basically ask yourself this: What do you want out of your build? From there, you need to digress to the best parts for your build for your budget.

1080P maxed gaming? 1440P? 4k? VR? Budget build? Best you can do with $1500? What?
