Ok.. you might not believe it, but Microsoft hid a Star Wars movie in your computer!

    Don't believe me?
Follow my steps to see it!

Go to start, run, and type in "telnet" without the quotes.
The black window should appear, type "o" and press enter ( without quotes )
Its should tell you <to>, type in "towel.blinkenlights.nl" and click enter.
It will give you like 2-3 paragraphs of words.. and the movie begins :D.
    Have fun!

It works. But IT'S NOT MICROSOFT, ffs. Telnet is an internet program. You're simply telling it to connecto to a server. The movie comes from the server.

EVERYONE here apart from X9 amazes me with their stupidity.

Telnet isn't an internet program, though. Telnet is a protocol.

Towel.blinkenlights.nl is a domain that handles telnet requests. It is in NO way connected to your computer, and is in no way connected to Microsoft.

The telnet program on your computer is a program which communicates with servers using the telnet protocol. Better?

BTW, is your sig having a go at me, swan?

No - I just don't like the Zune ... and I'm a metal fan .. though your sig did have something to do with it. Not having a go at you personally though.

And yes, that definition is much better.

Instead of doing all the shit commands in the telnet terminal, just click run and type "telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl". Much easier.
