Buyacc Diced me with Dice Debt

@Buyacc was dicing on January 6th, I diced him for 1m 07. I lost the dice roll. Later I found out he had a dice debt to gun for 1m 07. (This was before gun said he didn't want the 1m either way he's still dicing with a debt) So as a law abiding citizen I decided I should report him. No matter the value a debt is a debt and rules are rules.

I have probably lost more dicing in the last month (from the moment Gun didnt accept his dice winnings) than what I won. So if this gets accepted I would like to open a report similar to this one for all other dices I made the past month. The people can then trade the rsgp over between themselves.

No that means I only owe Gun 1M. Anything done after that would be void. Seeing as I lost more than what I won it would mean that it would turn out beneficial for me if everything gets returned, it would mean I will end up with more $.

 

no, this would just mean you broke the rules and should receive punishment also means you would have to pay back your winnings and the people you diced and lost to keep the gold they won off you atleast in my mind that's how it would work

 

No, no, no. The rule would obviously go both ways, not only for the dices I won but also for the dices that I lost.

 

nope, you cannot punish others for your mistakes. You are dicing with a debt you deserve punishment not others.

 

The rule doesnt say you cannot though. Just trying to be a law abiding citizen here...

 

Because Colts did not know that Buyacc had an outstanding dice debt when Colts diced with Buyacc, the debt remains valid. This is distinguishable from SPM's situation as SPM knew the person he was dicing with had a debt.

I agree that the rule provides a lot of uncertainty for 'law-abiding citizens'. It would be nice if we could have a debt register, or something similar to alert fellow 'law-abiding citizens' of those who owe debts exceeding the value of 1GP. Unfortunately we don't. Although the rule may be subject to change, what Richard said here applies to this exact situation:

Unfortunately for Buyacc, because the 'rules are rules' and he is a 'law-abiding citizen' I am forced to ban him from dicing. Fortunately for Buyacc I am a generous man, and so will not ban him from dicing as it would cause much uncertainty and confusion for many 'law-abiding citizens'; it is the staff's responsibility to ensure the rules do not attract too much uncertainty and confusion for 'law-abiding citizens'.

As 'law-abiding citizens' I would hope you two do not file any more disputes relating to dicing debts - that relate to this specific rule - until the staff can clarify the site's stance. As 'law-abiding citizens' I have no doubt that you will comply.
