OMG i downloaded a program but it won't open

so I downloaded a game yesterday via utorrent, and i don't get how to play it.
I right click on it then select "open containing folder", but none of the files in the folder work. So I went searching on the internet and found a file that's suppose to open it. Its called cue cards, the site is http://www.mhst.net/cuecards2/, but anyways now when I try to open the files, it says unerwartetes dateiformat.
I think its german..? then it closes and asks me to send an error report.
