Was 9/11 planned by the U.S. government?

Well, if you were actually abiding by this section's rules by being intelligent, you would post the proof you have of it being real, or at least post a valid arguement of why you think it wasn't planned.

 

Dylan's site took a few days for his "loose change" to become popular, in those few days, why couldn't the government kill him and his family and friends and shut down the website withing a few minutes of its launch, if it's a conspiracy then the government AND the military working together could have pulled off the biggest terrorism plot in history and yet fail to track down, shut/kill off this man and his website? If this was a conspiracy the government wouldn't want anyone to find out, so they would try their hardest to keep it a secret.

 

What if, like many other people, the government didn't know about the site. I'm sure several people would've known still. The government doesn't find everything. If the government found this topic when it was unpopular I really don't think that they would find Slave, kill him, and shut down this topic, or possibly even the site. They don't have all the power. Trying to cover it up makes the government look more corrupt and, surprisingly, I think Bush ACTUALLY figured that out (with the help of his 50 associates).

 

If everyone who tryed to reveal 9/11 died, i think that would say something....it's better just for them to mock us nut jobs...

 

The government has control of all electronic communication devices, this topic is fairly new, they are not trying to cover anything up because there is no conspiracy.

 

I mean trying to cover up that site thing you were talking about, and possibly this topic because it's promoting that 9/11 was created by the government and convincing many others, like myself, that it is a conspiracy. @ Jca. The reason why they don't take the sites down is because they know and I know they won't make a difference, so shutting them down would cause more suspicion.

 

At freefall speed? And look at tower 7, which DIDN'T EVEN FUCKING GET HIT. And it fell EXACTLY like a demolition.

I believe its planned. BUT those who believed it was planned now believes its not planned because of the anti-debunking stories saying how it could've been real.

My final thoughts.

I believe its planned along with Osama himself. Some parts are added by someones...such as WTF towers can be real but the other 2 incidents could be fake ones aka set up.

If someone is doing this, of course they will know people might think this is fake...so they would've thought of that long ago too. Hence the theorists now trying to disprove conspirators.

Even if its all is real, then there MUST be "let-gos" by some part of the government. That is, the government actually let it happen [I bet my ass you can't disprove this one though]

Yep, that's another possibility, seeing as they stood down, as did norad, as norad was having an exercise that day, a training exercise where 2 planes hit the WTC.

 

I agree, it could definetely be a possibility. Especially the "let-gos" (sounds like Leggos rofl) because we all know the government has done many things like that before (see Slave's topic, "Operation Northwood").

We finished watching the 9/11 video in class today and, unknowingly I suppose, the creators of the video showed both sides (fake and not fake). They showed a few buildings collapsing, and several of them looked exactly like a demolition. Only a little fire, if there even was any, and it was exactly like several videos I saw on YouTube of executed demolitions. On the other hand, one or two of the buildings had a ton of fire all around them, and when they collapsed they look fairly real. I just think, being fair to everyone, that both sides of 9/11 should be recognized.

I think the fact that the Twin Towers' foundations were shared is an important fact to include within this discussion. It is obvious that the collapse was due to structural instability, yet the fact that the tower was collapsed due to explosives of a demolition is unfounded. A building does not need to be set on fire in order to collapse. If the foundation of a building is damaged, the center of gravity of the building will shift with the change in the foundation. If the center of gravity was changed then the weight of the tower could have caused the building to collapse, without the aid of explosives. The logical decision is to debunk the theory, which I am sure has been done many times (this is not a new conspiracy theory).
