When buying a account!

Okay on Sythe there is alot of account buying.
May i add that when buying a account always use a very trusted mm, or a official mm. Also people buy accounts all the time using a mm, and get scammed when the person recovers. Yes the account can have no recoveries and u can set new recoveries, BUT IT DOESNT HELP!

Here is my guild to buying a account, it always worked for me when i bought one.

1. Get a middleman to mm the trade(always Helps)

2. When you have the account, always ask the mm to allow you to let you do the following.

--1. Change the password 3 times. This will set 3 new previous passwords which
not let the person selling recover the account using old passwords.

--2. Also set new recoveries. This will give a better chance.

--3. Before buying a account, have 900-1.5m extra to spend a pbp or sms pin.
For members, and have a seller ready. When you buy the pin and get it
Activated for members, this will erase all old members status, such as for
A credit card, which you should also use a mm when buying. When you
Buy the pbp pin, you have to go to "Start a new subscription" which will
start a new one. So it will kill all chances of the seller trying to recover.

4. Get all stuff off the account, and wait about 3-14 days before you start using the account and putting stuff on it.

This is my guild to helping all account buyers not get scammed by the seller recovering the account.

Setting new recoveries will not do much, because you can click "I did not set recoveries" and say in the box section saying that your account has been hacked, and tell them to look at the IP changes, and you write your old recoveries if you had removed them. It will not change a thing, but you can get it back, but then they can get it back too.
Changing the password 3 times doesn't do much, they have to write their "First Password" and two previously used ones. It doesn't make the scammers job any harder.
If there is even anything that is worth anything still on the account, it's most likely to be recovered.

not always true i boughta lvl 90 account and it got scammed back even when i bought a pin.

 

I admire your attempt to reduce scamming, but jagex cares nothing about 4 passwords you have and 1 pin. When you wish to recover your account you want all original info, first pass, first agreement number, first, pin, with out this they will still recover the account and you may do nothing about this. I do agree about waiting at least a week before tuouching the account, I just say f your going to buy an account use the previous info to see if it works, if the seller provided fake info that wont recover, there gonna scam you probably.

 

well best way is get a offical mm and buyer give him all info and he check if they work and tracking and shit if the buyer can recover you can do it to

 

actually setting 3 new passwords doesn't reset the old passwords that the perv owner had. so that doesn't help.. wating till members runs out and doing new members with CC helps alot. setting new e-mail, recs, MEMBER info will lower the risk of getting acc recoveried alot.
