Fire cape on a HCIM - Help please

Hi guys,

Really want to get my firecape on a HCIM, would even consider using a service on sythe to do it for me. However, obtaining the right gear is proving difficult.

My current stats are

70 Att
70 Str
60 Def
69 HP
52 Prayer
55 Range ( will try to train range to at least 60)

What is the best set up I could use given I'm a Ironman account.

My current best in slot items that may be useful

Helm - Helm of Neitiznot / Archers Helm
Top - Green Dragon Hide Body
Legs - Green Dragon hide Legs
Boots - Climbing
Gloves - Addy Gloves or Green Vamps
Wep - Dorg c-bow / hunters c-bow
Shield - unholy zamorak book (incomplete) / Granite shield / dragon defender
Food - Tuna Potatoes (heals 16)
Pots - Plenty of Prayer potions ...

Just looking for advice on what I could use as my set up , don't want to grind out a rune crossbow if I can avoid it.

Is there any service atm that are doing capes for Hardcore Ironmen allowing for worse gear etc...

I've asked a few people who offer this service and not had any definitive answers.

I have done fire cape a few times in the past but I'm pretty rusty and I've only done it with the best possible gear on normal accounts..

I mean easiest and most preferred gear would be hides, try and get 61 range and rcbow tbh, hard to say, gl though.

 

You would have to have a seriously good and trust worthy service provider to risk your hci on a fire cape (do you even lose the status dieing to jad??)

 

fight caves is considered a "safe" death

 

I got up to Jad with around the same stats. My only problem was I got smashed by Jad due to a laggy connection. Had JonBeMerkin do it in the end. Can't wait to get decent internet installed and do some proper scaping
