    4th Dimension?

Well we all know there are 3 Dimensions for sure. But my question is .. IS there a fourth dimesion and how will we ever see, visualise, enter or even prove to exist.

Imagine what we can do if we are able to visit other dimesions where time is not a factor, distance does not exist.

I found some interesting articles about this topic and heres one

This should give a basic explanation of the dimesions.

    Discuss..

    4th Dimension?

There is a fourth dimension. It's called time. We percieve it as a property of the universe, but it is actually physically tied in with the other three dimensions.

    4th Dimension?

Can you please change the title for the Thread to "Other Dimensions"

Yes I assume its part of our univerese and tied in but i wonder if there are other dimension but what they are is un imaginable.

Its hard understanding the properties of another dimesion. Because when ever you see it on tv its either a giant room with stair cases going in every direction.

    4th Dimension?

Many believe there are a total of 11 different dimensions, each one a step more intricate than the previous. There are also books on the subject.

actully there are more then 6 as far as im concerned i beleive the 7th one is a blip back so we go through everything we just went through but its like a second chance for your options because

so im very positive there are only 8 demonshoins 8 being apcolypse only happens when the 7th demonshion is closed or brocken

    4th Dimension?

What's a demonshion? And what does the apocalypse have to do with visual dimensions? Closed and "brocken"? Am I stupid, or is he?

I'm lost. I'm not going to go so far as to associate visual dimensions, such as 1d, 2d, 3d, etc, with worldly EVENTS like the apocalypse, or even time, I'd think. Time has a better chance of being correlated with the 4th dimension, or another, or even being the actual dimension, in a sense.

    4th Dimension?

I think this "blip back" kid here is trying to make extra dimensions something bizarre like an "end of reality" and "end of the world" type thing.

In my opinion, they're as mundane as 2d is to 3d. Each one is just another way to see the world itself. In 2d, you see flat images. In 3d, you see images that have depth to them, projecting out and in. In 4d, perhaps, you see THROUGH them, inside and out, much like an x-ray vision would work. Perhaps 5d would be just like 4d, merely another step up, revealing another aspect of the world and our environment, so on and so forth, until you reach the 11th dimension, and there, I believe, you would be able to see everything there is to see.

Another interesting topic for anyone who's interested to look into... search "string theory" and take that into consideration.

Ok this my sound strange but... My science teacher told me an astrologist believed there were 21.. I have no idea how he worked that out. I personaly

    7-10? I believe it's theoretically 11, not 7-10.

An Astrologist is somebody who concerns themselves with astrology. You know, horoscopes, star signs, etc.

Well that's ALL it could be since you can't actually prove it.

    Thus, I repeat, theoretically. Gf.
