Is botting still good?

I have a few old accounts (start of osrs) that I want to bot on. Is botting a high banrate now? Talking in general, not going to 24/7 pick flax. Have jagex stepped up their game?

Mainly looking for 12hrs a day stuff like nmz and what not.

So to answer your questions, yes, Jagex has stepped up their game a bit with the bot detection. They banned a good number of accounts a few days ago right before raids released. However, if you use a well written program, you won't have to worry about being banned.

You'll probably get banned tbh. Potted for ~8 hours on 2 accounts that didn't look like bots on F2P with premium scripts, both permabanned.
But I guess you get lucky sometimes

 

You won't last a week until you get at least a 2 day ban

Botting is still profitable. But compared to years ago, botting is alot more risky as of now.

If you're thinking of botting an account that you care about, then might as well sell it because you WILL get banned if you bot.

 

I got banned with a free script on powerbot but I guess that was my mistake of not checking updates on the script thread. Is this the case with paid scripting that claims to have flawless scripting and anti-ban with humanlike movements?
