New RS Skill

Here's something I found on Google. A bit interesting, yet contradictory to all the other things you'll find about how it WON'T be the new skill, while yet again you hear it WILL be, etc. But whatever.

"Summoning

It has been found that some traces of this "skill" are already in RuneScape. Many NPC's summon monsters and other magical energies. Malignus Mortifer, the necromancer south of Falador summons weak undead monsters (and sometimes mushrooms), and the wizard Grayzag, at the top of wizard's tower, summons imps to fight for him. Also, when the player asks him to teach him/her how to summon monsters, he replies by saying "Maybe you will learn to summon creatures one day" or words to that effect. The wizard in the top of wizard tower claims to be summoning lesser demons to fight. Also a recent quest, "Recipe For Disaster" included the "Culinaromancer" who summons monsters with altered names associated with cooking. Also during the "Evil Dave" part of the quest, Evil Dave says he has been working on summoning demons but can only summon hellrats
Some Jagex moderators have stated that instead of Summoning being a new skill altogether, it will be a part of the already existing Magic skill instead.
It has been noted that Summoning and Necromancy are different arts. It has also been noted that in the extremely early versions of RuneScape, the skill now referred to as prayer was called necromancy.
However, there are clues in certain god letters that summoning will just be part of magic with a new rune. Life rune images were found in the RuneScape Classic image database, although they were never added into the game. If they were, they most probably would have been used for summoning. Jagex moderators have confirmed that Life Runes did once exist in what is now referred to as RuneScape Classic, however they had no use for them and removed them completely from the game.
Some people believe that Summoning may never be introduced into the game, due to the fact that a Jagex moderator once said that it probably won't make it into RuneScape, because it's too controversial."

 

People have been saying that Summoning would come out for years now, If it does cool. If it don't Don't realy matter.

Intresting. Now to wait and find Out if this comes true. Jagex will eventually reply to the rumours in a update or on the forum. Now the wait.

yeah i heard that summoning was going to come out like 2 yrs ago then didn't hear much about it :-\

i kinda hope it does i think it would be a cool skill but if it doesn't oh well.

 

thatd be handy, i dont think theyed allow it in the wilderness. ppl will make pures with 99 summoning, who summon the equivelent of like bronze dragon+. thatd b cool though.

They'll bring it out next month, exceot they'll call is beastlore.
That's why this month is so boring, the calm before the storm.
And there is a patter of when skills come out, it's something like 7 months 9 months 7 months 9 months etc. October is that 9th month.

 

^^lol. There's no pattern to new skills. Maybe you fins it seems likes there's one...but no. RuneScape Won't over crowd us with skills and make it see impossible to reach the Top25.

Yea itll be a cool skill if it comes out.Though I dont see any way to train it.If theres like on option where you click to summon and get exp then ppl with auto click it.Cant think of any ideas to train it o.o
