Prevent the MM from scamming pins and getting away without anything on him

Alright, theres a little loophole in pin MMs that happen.

During a pin trade it usually goes like this:

1.Player 1 give money to mm
2.Player 2 gives pin
3.MM puts pin on player 1
4.MM sees if it works, if not report/refund if yes give money to player 2.


But a major point is being missed here. At stage 3, the MM can swifty put the pin on his own account and then claim the pin as invalid thus making player 2 look like a complete scammer. You should also note that Player 2 has 0 evidence against the MM, so it is completely risk free for the MM. Not even a mobile phone screen can help it as the MM can claim that it was already used.

So what I want to be done is that rather than Player 1 giving the link to the MM he gives it to player 2, this way Player 2 puts the pin on, Player 1 checks that it is correct and once this is confirmed to the MM, he then passes on the money. This involves 0 risk for any playerrs, as an MM stealing 1M is can be easily banned as evidence for this is easy to record.

Ive tried this with some people and all Ive got is "Scammer" , "nub" etc. Including from some respected members of this forum, and not being from sythe, rather fagex im used to not using an MM at all, as my pin shop there has earnt me alot more respect. I also need you to understand that there is no way that player 2, the MM or player 1 can scam and not be caught.

I suggest you update your MMing Procedure as I have sold alot of pins in my time and its happened quite a few times.

btw Player 1 takes a screenshot or if bothered, a video, (fakes are easily detectable after zooming in) of It being approved with the account. If player two claims it doesent work they must provide video evidence of them logging in without membership in place.

This makes it even worse. Player 2 could claim that the pin is already used, and get the money back. Just find a MM who has been MMing for a long time.

I thought player 1 doesn't put the pin on? So there would be no way to take a video of it being approved. Plus, Player 2 could just use it on another account.

 

or if this is the way things were done, player one could enter pin, and have player 2 try and log onto members world
if he can log onto members world than the mm would give cash, that would be more trust sounding, but i believe there is nothing wrong with the way things are, even though i know that dean23 has done what your talking about to me where he used the pin for himself an gave cash ack, but i believe how things are now work out, because a trustworth mm, as my self or a official mm wouldnt scam

 

If player 2 uses it on another account, player 1 can post video evidence showing no membership was placed.

Remember any flaw you see in my idea is in the other one. Except this way, there is evidence against every form of it.

 

How do you have evidence that no pin was placed? It the pin said already used, then the person got a free pin. Both ideas won't work at all, sorry. The safest way is to use a MM.

 

Trust me, just use an official, we're not going to take your pin.

Indeed, this is why we have Trusted/Official Middlemen.

 

Officials are sometimes hard to find.

Evidence that no pin was placed can be a simple screenshot before and after the trade. Or if you really want to press, a video after.
