I released the guide on October 25, 2016. Sneaky Fish5 claims that the method is "public" based on a youtube video that he found regarding the method. I claimed that I found the method on my own, and was unaware of the youtube video that was released regarding the method. The youtube video was quite hidden and hard to find, since it only had 5,000 views. To be able to find this method, one must KNOW the details of the method in order to search for it. Runescape is a virtual reality, and there are obviously limits to how can make money. I spend a long time in Runescape searching for methods on my own (I have sold over three money making guides here on Sythe without complaints). So my reasoning is, the guide that I am selling is all made by me. The guide is completely written by myself only, and searching the guide on Google will come up with 0 results since I was the one who wrote it and kept it privately. When Sneaky Fish5 first purchased the guide, he was very pleased with what he received. He did not know of the method before hand, and received the profit that I promised in the guide.

He even left a vouch/review regarding the guide he purchased:

So Sneaky Fish5 calling me a scammer is a bit of an exaggeration in my opinion. As a customer, he was looking for a method that was unsaturated and promising of the profit made per hour. I gave him everything that I promised within the guide, and he seemed very pleased at first.

However, Sneaky Fish5 recently claimed that I was scamming since he found the method on the internet. The internet is a huge place, and there are only so many things to do in Runescape. I stick by my claim that this method is not known by the majority of the Runescape public, since #1 there is not a public script or premium script out there for this method, and #2 there is no youtube video promoting this method as a money making method. There is the single video (with 5,000 views) that walks you through this method, but it does not advertise it as a money making method whatsoever.

In order for me to be accused of scamming, I have to be cheating someone or stealing from someone else's work of some kind. Based on Sneaky Fish5's original opinion of the method, he seemed to have been making the money that was promised and enjoying the profits of the guide to its full extent. If this method was "public", Sneaky Fish5 would already know about it and there would be dozens of scripts and videos about this method.

To any moderator or admin reviewing this thread, I am able to send you a copy of the guide I wrote for reviewing purposes.

Definitions of public:
done, perceived, or existing in open view.
ordinary people in general; the community.

If it was public, everyone would know about it, and it would be widely seen.

 

No by public I perceive it as something anyone can see. I'm pretty sure this is what is meant by the sticky too unless I missed something.

I stand by my quote when I say there is no public/premium script for this method out there.

 

But your not selling a script, your selling a method.

 

Anything can be found on the internet if you search deep enough. If you are looking for a method that NOBODY knows, that is quite impossible. The internet is bigger than you think @Sneaky Fish5, and by public, my definition of public is something SEEN by the RS community. I would consider public methods the ones that you find when you youtube Money Making Guides, or the ones on the DNS list. The fact that you did not know about the method before the guide shows that 1. The guide was useful to you 2. The guide is not public

 

If you can connect the dots, if there are no public/premium scripts for that method, there is a higher chance that the method is in fact, unknown.

 

This "Unknown" method has 51 replies on Powerbot, and this is the person that said that selling above 5 of this script would cause havoc on the market.
EDIT: Also has 4,953 views of botters looking to make a profit.

 

But it shouldnt be THAT easy to find, all it took was a quick search on google and I was done. Anyways, gonna let mods handle this from now on

I don't watch streamers on twitch, but if they did do this often on twitch, it would be far fetched to consider it common knowledge since I did not find this on twitch, nor did DylanRS or Sneaky Fish5. And seeing as if no one who has purchased my guide claimed that this was to be found on twitch, I would not consider twitch as a common source to be able to find this method.

It seems that DylanRS and Sneakyfish5 are very dissatisfied that they purchased the method, yet when I first showed it to both of them, they were extremely pleased with the results.

@DylanRS : You state that a ton of people already know about the method and that it is public. If there is no working public script out for the method, and you have to SEARCH for the script on back pages of powerbot that don't even work - it makes no sense on why you would call it a public method.

@Sneaky Fish5 : You claim that I am breaking the rules and scamming members of this community. Can you go through the rules of guide selling and point specifically to which rule I am breaking?
