I started botting on simba with a private script, tried running it on my pc; got banned in 2 hours. Tried my vps; got banned within 2 hours. AGAIN.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Weath is back at work. Don't expect to have the same banrates compared to the last 2 weeks.

SMART is highly detectable and most likely detected.

It is, just spend 5 minutes looking at Brandons or Benland100's posts where they point out how it's detectable.

It's not detectable. Period. Being able to detect SMART requires access to the root computer. I've used SMART on accounts for many years that have had no problems. Detection is only script dependent.

EDIT: I've looked through your past posts and it seems you're concerned with methods of detection that Jagex will never use. That being said, Jagex could easily detect anything on your computer with process listeners, but they're not going to. Detection methods like this have large legal grey areas. SMART is purely external. Even if they implement secure client sign-ins, it would be useless since SMART can use custom user agents.

Why would you need root access to detect SMART? I've never looked into SMART to see how it's sandboxing works.
But I'd trust BenLand100 and Brandon much more when they say SMART is detectable. If you just look at posts like these one two three (benland100 hardly posts anymore but he often says it on IRC.

Your first two posts are about mouse listening which is something that Jagex doesn't do. In the first post, Brandon explains that mouse detection is the same as any other bot, but you are overlooking the fact that other bots use other class injections which SMART doesn't. The third post is about process listening, which I already explained.

Anyway, SMART is not being detected or else my accounts would be banned. Even if you don't trust my knowledge about Simba, my first hand experience > your interpretation of other Simba dev's knowledges. Make sure to decouple what 'is detectable' and what 'will realistically be detected'.

While we're at it, do jagex detect click speeds/frequencies/mouse position etc?

It seems like something they wouldn't be able to record, like clicking alch spell insanely fast.

Yea. That goes into script/API quality. If you just sit somewhere and autoclick alch, you're gonna get flagged. Of course they can't get 100% accurate data due to latency issues, but if your mouse movement and clicking is off the charts, it's rather obvious.

It's always questionable how Jagex uses the data the client collects, but the most common interpretation is that sketchy behavior gets your account flagged, then there's some manual detection that goes on.

No but autoclicking alching on a generic OSB/RS client hidden in the crowds, ive never heard of anyone be banned for that or myself even.

Im lead to believe those variables either can't be recorded, and that bans are either by manual investigation which i assume they dislike or through scripted movements over a long period.

Now that I think about it, you're right. I've never really heard of anyone being banned for autoclicking alching, myself included. Either way, the data is definitely there for recording. Whether or not it's accurate and how Jagex uses it is unclear.

a ban bot wave just occured, it always happens, doing that won't change the fact if you're caught. just lay off botting for a week or two.

It's more the method rather than the script/client. If you were doing something that is highly botted, there is your issue :p

Simba has historically has one of the lowest ban rates of all bots.
That being said, anytime you bot, at all, with any bot, you risk getting a ban.

You may have used a script that needs improvements, or just happened to have caught by reports/mod.

Botting successfully takes some trial, error, and practice. Keep trying!

I have been bottling as usual on I,ba without any changes. I bot for around 16 hours a day and Upto 54M exp on an acccount. I don't think there is a problem with Simba.
