The Weekend - Starboy Album

Been listening to this album on repeat since it was released on Spotify. Still not burned out of a single song. Has some elements that remind me of the GOOD in older music mixed with the best of our modern music. If somehow you haven't heard the album yet, do it now.

 

Dunno how you haven't been burned out of a single song. I think it had its strong points but suffered by being too long with too much filler which seems to have been a trend this year - views for example.

 

Yeah, usually I like the mainstream stuff all right. Not trying to be hipster and listen to alternative stuff just because, but also not a huge fan of all the top chart stuff. This time around, I just love this album

He didn't pump out the same shit everyone does. His song Secrets, is one of my favorites. Brings back a older style I remember as a kid, with a newer flare obviously.

 

His monotonous voice annoys me. There is no variety with him.

 

Daft Punk did a great job reviving this dude's career. Smartest possible move The Weekend could've made, but the song is a great song nonetheless. Haven't listened to the whole album but I've heard a couple songs from it
