Well I couldent say speccifically. But I would tell em to make sure everything is connected properly. Or it can be some compatibility issue and the BOIS cant reconize the parts.

If you can get to recovery console use this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314058

"Note If you try to obtain access to other folders, you may receive an "Access Denied" error message. Also, when you are using the Windows Recovery Console, you cannot copy a file from the local hard disk to a floppy disk. However, you can copy a file from a floppy disk or from a CD-ROM to a hard disk, and you can copy a file from one hard disk to another hard disk."

So I think you may have temporarily install another hard drive and then use the copy command. After leading it to the right directory.

That'd be cool, since I'm not that great at computer hunting, especially for gaming computers.

I'm looking for a system with around 2 gb ram, and a 250 GB or more hard drive with a gaming capability video card.

Well I don't actually have it yet, but I'm taking it in a month. Did you take the Cisco class, or did you buy books yourself?

Just becuase you ot an F in English doesn't mean you can type shit all over these forums, go some place that people care (Runescape.com | AOL etc.).

I need a cross check Phil to see if you have the same ideas as I do.

I want a general use computer for AUS $2000. What would you recommend?

I live in US so i did the conversion rate and its $1,653.71 USD

Thats a LOT of money to be spending on a general use computer.

If you consider general use as internet browsing and some basic programs this computer for $400 would be good. http://www.buy.com/prod/acer-aspire...-2ghz-1gb-ddr2-sdram/q/loc/101/203975271.html

But if you have nothing better to do with that money you can get a killin computer here:
    http://www.amazon.com/Pavilion-A615...?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1189362759&sr=1-11
    thats still only $1000 tho.

If you still wanted to spend more money after that you could get another gig of ram a better grafics card and another hard drive.
that would basiclly equal 1.6k but if you had anymore money you couldent buy anything better if you tried!

Well General Use/Multimedia. My parents want to buy a new computer, and my brother also uses it for things like Photoshop CS3. I'm doing up a list of system specs for him, and I just wanted a cross check of what you though.
