What should I do?

Hey I was just seeking some input towards my purchases. I have been working at my job 7 days a week for the past month so I have been able to accrue a rather large paycheck of around $1000 after taxes.

I was wondering what would you get with it if you got that much...

I usually make $500 dollars a month and send about $250 into CDs and bonds, and other investments and the other $250 goes into other everyday expenses like going to movies, eating out and other things that every 16 year old purchases.

So basically I got a $500 extra this month and really want to blow it since I have been on the grind for weeks.

Please don't suggest anything Runescape related as I don't believe in playing a game if it is so boring that you will have to pay money to get stuff.

 

Buy a new computer. Buy an xbox, invest in a hobby such as paintball.
Buy a dirtbike. Whatever your interested in.

 

Hoping for something outside of the box or something I just haven't thought of.

 

Save up and get one of these.



Or just get a little car if you'd rather.

 

I live in a major metropolitan area. I have no real need for a car and I also have enough friends to mooch a ride off of =]

Besides I sort of have a police record and my insurance is through the roof.

 

if you like gaming pimp out ur computer and start playing good games. get urself some more sticks of ram, maybe a new video card. crap like that. i personally have about $800 saved up in the bank for 2months work and im planning on blowing it on a new laptop at the end of the month.

 

I don't do a lot of gaming so I got a nice ultraportable laptop from sony that meets my needs.

Thinking of getting a new iPhone since I'm a mobile phone addict and they dropped the price by 200 dollars but I sort of need more space for music as I have over 8000 songs. In addition the real worry I have is that they will release a 3g version when it rolls out in Europe.

 

Iphones are amazing, my friend has one and i'm getting one for a birthday present. Get it.

lol i dont get phones. maybe you older folks need em but im 16 and i dont rly ever use one.... i mean whenever i need to make a call im always with som1 who has a cell. or if not there is a payphone around me. every1 i know in my high school has a phone its just me and one of my buds that dont and neither of us sees the need of it. either way if anything get urself the ipod classic. 80gbs stores 20k songs and can also play videos.

 

Got a 5th generation iPod 30gig.

Looking at the new iPod classics they just released, might get the 160gig version

I am 16 and use my smartphone/windows mobile PDAs more than my computer. It does everything I need a computer to do and more.

This is also the reason why I am asking online. Two years ago on an online forum someone suggested I get a phone sort of as a joke like, why would a 14 year old need one. Now 10 year olds have them and I am obsessed with them. Hoping to get a new obsession here lol.
