the dangers of runescape.

To me runescape seems like a drug. You start playing, and you cant quit, weather it's for 1 year+. ive recently quit and noticed how much ive changed.
before runescape I was an extremely good skater, I could varial heel, nearly tre, etc. and when i started playing runescape...i gave up skating so I would have more time for it. I gained alot of weight because I neglected playing with my friens [most of whom were playing runescape]. i stopped going outside alltogether, i stopped doing my homework, and i stopped socializing apart from in-game chatting. ive finally quit about 2 months ago, and started playing about 3 years ago. Ive "quit" about 6 times, all have been failed, since I quit for about 1-2 weeks, then started having urges [which i couldnt deny] to play again. and now i can truly see the dangers of what runescape can do, just like most online rpg's. you have to understand that you NEED to take breaks and go outside. weather or not you get full d and an abby whip means shit. You might impress some of your rs friends, but what then? Yuo plan to play runescape your whole life?

Some of you might repsond saying "Dumb shit this is a runescape forum get the fuck out" ...Well...dont. Because you need to see this message.

I agree with this... I've quit for 1-2 years, and just came back, Now I'm just addicted, runescape is a drug.. lols

 

lol i started playing from 2002 to 2004 then quit, then about 2 months ago started playing again.

Rofl, I play, I agree, what I did to 'lower' my 'addiction' Was go on a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG camping trip. AAANNNNDDDD once you get all your need/goals, it gets pretty easy to stop playing lol

i started playing rs in 2002.. played for 1 year.. then quited 1 year-2003-2004.. then like just went online to see new stuff every month for a year
then it was 2005.. then i played for 2 years but not realy ''played'' becuz in 2005-2007 all the new 3d rpg's were comming out so rs was like a game that i play once in a while.. after playing all the new 3d mmorpg's and guild wars and WoW..i went back to rs in 2007... and i'm still playing till now.. but i only play rs 2-3 hours a day MAX..... and all i do is hang out with friends;.. talk via teamspeak.. get 99 stats.. and just chill out.. becuz no new games are out.. and well.. every saturday sunday.. and wendsday we go out clubbing.. so we get enuf excercize..

I don't play runescape... It actually is a pretty dumb game when you come to think of it lol.....I mean you just keep leveling and leveling for what? I mean it is a huge waste of time, I don't understand how people even play videogames for more than 5+ hours a day (You know who you are.). I mean there is no real point to the game, Who gives a shit of you have diff items and good levels, It is a fucking game.
