A few are owned by active players, just not sure how to go about getting it from them...such as Kitty (Last seen Dec. 25th, 2016)

Some however have been inactive for around 4-6 years, which makes me wonder how they didn't loose their name with the purge of names that jagex did.

Anohana (The name of a series in itself...a sad series)

 

Anime related names are surprisingly high in demand - It's a pity that people with no relative knowledge on the category, tend to swarm you (throw shitty names at you) if you so mention "I'm interested in anime names hehe"

Anyways before I get off tangent. I'm pretty sure using RuneMetrics, adding them ingame (duh), checking Rs3/OSRS Hi-scores and using CML is the best way to get in touch. Some tier 1 name owners might have twitch stream/twitter accounts, so you might want to try your luck there. In this case:

Shinobu seems to be inactive since around ~2011
Holo - Active OSRS
I've actually seen Taiga ingame during DMM 0.
Esdeath seems inactive on a level 3 toon.
Kitty - I'm almost certain is a low combat skiller on Rs3
Anohana - Pretty sure this name was hoarded during the recent name purge when 'A's were released.
And 420 I believe is also hoarded - Don't quote me on any of this though, I'd suggest you do some digging yourself.

Personal note ~ These names are probably not worth that much but I'd be prepared to pay a tremendous amount for Kitty, 420 and probably a fair bit for Holo and Shinobu (both tier 1 Japanese names). I'd consider Esdeath a tier 2 anime name, the full name Aisaka Taiga tier 3 (Taiga or Aisaka by itself would be Tier 1-2 because short names naturally appeal to more people).

As for Anohana, this is a bit harder to categorize. Names are worth what somebody is willing to pay, however titles of a certain anime generally don't go for too much. Yes Anohana is a fantastic show (I gave it a 10/10 on MAL) but so was Shigatsu, Konosuba, Shirobako and Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan). TLDR you probably wouldn't have to pay too much for this name, nor would somebody pay top dollar, unless they're a die hard fan of course.

For newcomers and vets alike: Tier 1 Japanese/Anime names would be something like - Goku (yes DBZ is anime), Naruto, Sakura, Hikari, Mayu, Shin, Mikasa etc.
