Goldfarming Progress Log

Hey everyone, I spent the last few weeks heavily researching goldfarms and I've taken every bit of knowledge I've obtained and started my own farm. I'd like to use this thread as a way to share my progress and some of my goals. I'm completely new at goldfarming so everything that I do is based on the research I've done.

I'm not about that pussy shit, so I bought a private script for a method I discovered for members and have bonded up 3 accounts. I'll be getting two more accounts to the required stats today and starting them up on an 5-6 hour run. So far I've invested roughly 75$ into my farm, though only 50 came from actual money while the rest came from selling off my RSGP. This went into: my private script,
my proxies, VIP on my bot client of choice, and some startup bonds.

...That's a little too much of an introduction. Let's get into the good stuff.

Silver - 10 running at once
Gold - 15 running at once
Platinum - 20 running at once
Diamond - 25 running at once

For each amount I will will give myself a few days to just make money and observe how my bots affect the market. If there is no noticeable impact I will move on to the next tier, possibly ad infinitum until the method dies or I want to look into new methods. Once a noticeable impact has occured I will discontinue my creation of bots for my current method and seek another one to farm while I keep my current bots in action until they receive bans.

I'll try to keep this updated. I think I'll attempt to keep a total profit, time farmed, and ban counter.

I got up to 4 accounts, but one just got banned. It's one that was heavily tested and constantly made errors in its first few days so I'm not shocked it's gone. It should be the only ban for a while, if not I'll need to change how long I wait until I begin botting the accounts.

I'll have another "4th" account running by the end of the day, once I'm back from town and can level it up.

Back online and it's time to farm! Currently using 3 accounts, tomorrow I'll have 4, and the day after I'll have 5 if I decide to use the IP I got banned on.

I think my plan is to get the 4 going strong, then use the 5th to test the absolute limits of how long I can bot at one time until I get a ban. I'll only do this before and after Jagex work hours and will transfer all cash it makes before Jagex work hours start. Let's see how it goes!

 

Do you use proxies and/or a vps? And if so how do u use it? Eg. 2 bots using vps IP and 3 using proxy IP?

 

I'm using one proxy per account, np VPS since they'd add on to my monthly cost at the moment. Once my farm is bigger I"ll need to look into a good VPS and compare the cost of running that to the cost of electricity my computer uses.

 

Oh ok debating whether to get one big vps with proxies or multiple small vps

Will do! I'm at 5/8 hours farmed today, so far so good. Once my 8 hours are up I'll transfer to my mule then use that to purchase membership and start up bot number 4.

I've decided to use the proxy one account was banned on for a 5th account, if only to test how long a ban on a flagged IP takes and if it's viable to simply continue using it.

 

you could of botted all week from the 17th to the 1st of the new year mod weath is on vacation.. ive ran my bots 72 hour proggies at once. no ban

 

I've been trying to take it slow since I'm just started so as not to risk the entire farm just yet. If it all goes down I'd have to invest more of my own money to get another set of accounts going. I just didn't want to risk that, though it would probably have been smart to do so. Too bad I spent a good chunk of time actually taking note of bugs in the script and having them fixed I suppose
